Dog Academy by Pup Club Official

We heard about the Pup Club from a friend who had excellent results from their training so decided to explore it for our dog. We have been so impressed so far with what we have learnt and what Ziggy has learnt, after all the training is as much about re-educating us! Dan is very patient, explains his approach and really encouraging. From an initial very thorough consultation we were able to go through what we believed were the issues and what we wanted to change.From working to stop barking at everyone walking past our house, to improving behaviour on walks with other dogs and people, and being calmer when visitors arrive, the changes have been obvious and almost instantly noticeable to anyone who knows Ziggy.We now get even more pleasure from Ziggy and are looking forward to continued progress in being able to take him to more places, knowing his behaviour will be acceptable to everyone he meets. We took our crazy Cocker Spaniel, Wallace, to The Pup Club and honestly, I never thought we’d see the day he passed his Level One but he did! The support has been amazing from start to finish. The one-to-one sessions especially made such a difference. They really helped us understand Wallace better; his wants, his needs, and how his little brain works which has completely changed how we handle his “craziness.” The training feels supportive, not overwhelming, and you can tell they genuinely care about the dogs and their owners. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly Recommended – The Pup Club: Not Just For Puppies! I have really struggled to take my dog for walks, and it was extremely stressful not just for me but for Loki too. After contacting the trainer Dan and starting training, I can honestly say 100% that Loki’s behaviour has improved. Walks are now much less stressful and so much easier than they were before. Dan is incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and supportive. There is absolutely no judgement, only understanding and encouragement, which makes such a big difference when you’re feeling overwhelmed. We booked Dan to help us with settling my partners dog, Duke, alongside my cat with a secondary focus on reducing his reactivity on walks after he was attached a few months ago. Dans impact on the walks was felt immediately and we instantly had faith we had made the right decision opting for him as our trainer. Within two sessions the improvement with heel walking and reactivity was visible and the house was so quiet (something we hadn’t had for a while living with a sausage dog). It was incredible. Dan went above expectations, replying to messages and providing guidance outside our sessions and supporting us further by lending us equipment so we could test whether it was suitable for us. This was so unexpected but insanely helpful as we tried multiple leads to help regain Dukes focus on us. By the end of our last session with Dan, we could have Duke settling in the same room as the cat. He no longer lunged for her and would just watch her and occasionally go for a calm sniff. It was a complete transformation and everything we had hoped and were aiming for. As part of our training package we also got access to all the club events and training course. The events included group walks - often accompanied with settles in pub gardens, and ‘games for learning’ which are enrichment games. Dan was kind enough to extend this membership to our other dog too and they both made friends with other club members In the class, Duke met another trainer - Alisha, and absolutely fell in love. She was so lovely in understanding every assignment, adjusting it to each dogs skill level and giving them new challenges to keep them entertained and engaged. On days with torrential rails and cold chills, she leant dogs spare coats from her car and she always had spare treats if you were to run out. This was true for so many of the trainers we met and you can tell how deeply they care about doing the best for both you and the dog Our experience with Pup Club has been amazing - it feels like a community, both with the trainers and other owners. It is well worth the money and we are devastated our plans come to an end: we will definitely be renewing and suggest if you’re even considering booking Dan/joining the club that you go for it. We are new to Pup Club and cant thank Dan enough for his professionalism and help he has provided us and our pup in such a short period of time. We have now had 2 home visits and we have been given some really good tips and advice to help our dachshund boy (1.5 Yrs old) who was becoming quite reactive towards other people and dogs. Duke is an anxious and reactive dog - especially around other dogs and our cat. Dan’s training has really helped us make huge progress on both fronts with only 2 sessions completed so far! Before we started with Dan and Pet Club walks with Narla were a source of constant stress and anxiety for us both. She had become reactive, lunging and barking at other dogs, which made even a short walk feel overwhelming. Since completing the training program with Dan the difference has been incredible. Dan's approach was compassionate and incredibly insightful. They helped us understand the root cause of Narla's behaviour, which was fear-based rather than aggression. With this new understanding, we learned how to support her. The progress has been truly remarkable. We were given clear, manageable steps to follow and practiced them consistently. Now, we can pass other dogs on the street without a meltdown. Narla is much calmer and more focused on us, and we have learned to read her body language better so we can intervene before she gets over her threshold. I no longer dread walking my dog. The Pup Club have been absolutely brilliant for us and our 3 year old rescue who have very little training or obedience when we first adopted him. We completed Level 1 with Kira and had Colin conduct 121s with us and do a home visit. Kira, Colin and other members of The Pup Club team have been incredible to work with and we have seen so vast improvements in our dog's behaviour. He is far more settled, a lot less anxious and going from strength to strength with his training. Its only been a few months but we have already had comments out what a different dog he is now - and all for the positive!! We had worked with other trainers in the past with little luck, but Dan's 1:1 sessions were helpful from the beginning, enabling us to get Merlin into his muzzle without whimpering and he has got us sitting next to other dogs in a controlled environment after just a few sessions. We aren't done with the course yet and Merlin still has a way to go to be able to behave the same way when coming across unexpected dogs, but we are already at a stage we never thought we'd be at again and that is all thanks to Dan! We've been on group walks (as part of our package) with other trainers who have all been incredibly helpful and everyone attending the classes is very welcoming too - I've already recommended the Pup Club to friends! After adopting a very dominant princess who needed some much needed TLC, Dan and pupclub came very well recommended to us! Mia, who is an Akita x GSD isn't the smallest nor is she the weakest. Dan has helped us with pulling on the lead and general walking daily, he's made slight small changes to our daily routines which have helped in settling her into life after being rescued, and the team have helped with boundary setting, making home life 10x easier! From a stubborn Akita who would not for love nor money sit in her bed or even show it any interest, to sitting in there comfortably without command after a walk! Nothing is too much of a problem for Dan, he is always on hand to answer any question no matter how big or small, and will tailor his advise and training dependant on what training goals we have, even if they change. We've done some group sessions, and have got more booked in! The community at pup club is equally for the dogs as much as for handlers! Group sessions are always filled with like minded people and great laughs! Everyone is on hand to help, and everything is facilitated with ease from all of the trainers! We started with Kira at PupClub back in March after a friend recommended us to sign up. After a bad experience from a dog trainer from a different company a few years ago, I was quite nervous to try dog training again but my friend raved about her experience with Kira from PupClub and now I understand why! I was very nervous on our first session of 1-2-1’s but Kira made me feel so at ease and comfortable around her straight away and not just me but our dog, Cobi too. She’s super friendly, professional and truly knows her stuff! Any questions I had, she was able to answer with tons of info. I always was pretty embarrassed of having a reactive dog and was scared of being judged but I have never felt one bit of judgement from Kira or any of the other trainers and even other members. Kira has always been available via WhatsApp to chat whenever I have a question which is super helpful! You can tell Kira is very passionate about working with dogs and PupClub itself. Kira has also been very flexible when it comes to booking sessions as my work diary can be a little awkward. I have now been on a few of the group dog walks which I would’ve never in a million years thought was going to happen with Cobi. PupClub and Kira have completely changed our life and Cobi’s too. We now enjoy walks and even enjoy walking in places I would never have gone before. This is all because mine and Cobi’s confidence has grown with the help of PupClub.
