Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
There is so much involved in creating and building a business, and often, financial issues need translation from those in the field in order to free up time for business owners. Guidence on financial responsibilities, listening to future aspirations, and supporting business owners is the role of an accountant.
What do you love most about your job?
I like problem solving! Accountancy comes with plenty of those from technical queries, imbalances, and software hiccups.
I also love to nurture development in myself, others, and businesses.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to show my neurodivergent son that there is a different way to earn a living beyond 9-5pm employment. You can do something you feel passionate about in your own environment and succeed.
Why should our clients choose you?
After 25 years of post AAT experience, I have accumulated many skills. I pick things up quickly, I am great at explaining technical issues and believe there is no such thing as a silly question. I also have a specialism in VAT and a vast understanding of HMRC's expectations.
I aim to provide packaged services with transparent pricing, regular reviews, free QuickBooks license (with bookkeeping), and wrap around support for queries.

Yes, definitely, in fact I work online only. Systems have developed so much in recent years: bank accounts link to software, both client and accountant can have access to the same online systems. It's easy to share documents and reports now that workflows are streamlined and accessible for all.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I provide services remotely, and so I am happy that Covid can be avoided ?
