Ruby Anniversary Party June 2024
This was a big party of people aged 21 to 93. Ken met with us at the venue 3 weeks before so he could see where he was going to set up.
He gave us the choice of various lights and desk frontage and we discussed the music. He asked what music we liked and explained that he would also do requests from the guests during the party. He arrived and set up an hour and a half before the it started and even wore a red waistcoat to match with our 'Ruby' theme. He played background music during the dinner and then the disco started. The music he played was fantastic. The floor was filled all evening. So many classic tunes, so many brilliant tracks, we danced the night away. It was such a lovely, memorable party. Everyone loved it and all our guests thought Ken was a brilliant DJ. Thank you Ken.

Ken was great at our wedding!
He's a really nice easy going fun guy, we didn't give him much of a playlist to go on, just a few examples of the kind of thing we were after, and the music just flowed!
He arrived and got set up in plenty of time, and got everyone involved on the dance floor! He even brought some props as prizes for the best dancer!

Ken is a fantastic entertainer and made our sons 5th birthday party really fun, getting all of the kids and most adults up joining them. Ken was very attentive to getting a group photo, cutting the cake and getting everyone to sing happy birthday and smoothly ran the entertainment around food times making it a lovely relaxing party for us to enjoy with our son too. ***** Five star service!!!!! Don't go anywhere else for a DJ !!!!! Full of energy, games, competition's and prizes. We hired him last night for our 11 year olds birthday party. It was amazing from start to finish, he got them all up and dancing including all of the shy ones and the adults! He also brought along DJ crazy James who was fantastic with the children dancing with them and helping them join in with the games and competitions. These guys do not lack any energy! I highly recommend them. All of the parents were asking for his card and saying how good he was. So happy to have booked DJ Kentastic and Crazy James to entertain the guests at my daughter's 8th b-party. Very impressed with the playlist, the quick set up and the interaction with the kids. The Mums where also up on their feet dancing away and there were lots for the kids to do. Lots of prizes and dance routines. I wished the music went on for longer, and I wasn't the only one. What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
I watch the audience response to the music, and look to enhance any requests with tracks along the same vein. I will change the pace to suit and mix/blend out songs if they are not working.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
Interactive party style, but can adjust to suit as i have club experience.
What do you love most about your job?
Getting great feedback through the event and after. The audience and customer are often surprised at the quality of my DJing.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Have always been around music and have a passion for entertaining.
