We booked dj gee for our end of season party at the local cricket club. Very professional set up came super early to make sure everyone was set up and ready to go for party time!

What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Read the crowd, it’s not easy and comes with experience, you cannot keep all of the people happy all of the time, but if you mix it up, target different age groups say at a wedding for example, you’ll have a successful night.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
Mixed, I love my 70s and 80s but I also like my 90s dance and Northern Soul. I’m old school, started DJing in Leeds on vinyl so my music taste is extremely varied.
What do you love most about your job?
Watching a crowd transform, from sitting quietly at the begining of the night, to slowly letting their hair down, getting on the dance floor, dancing together with a common love of music and really showing they’re having a good time.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I’ve been a DJ for over 25 years, worked for other professional operators all over the world.
I decided to return to the UK to look after my Mum who has dementia, I needed a business where I had spare time to take care of her and make a living.
Natural progression for me, get back into DJing which I love, make it my own business.
Why should our clients choose you?
I’m a professional, from early communication with my clients, discovering what they want, work within their budget, to finished product ensuring they and their party have a really good time.
It sounds easy, but it’s not as there are so many different tastes out there, but as a DJ if you usually get a round of applause at the end of the night, you must be doing something right :)
Wedding DJ
Much more than just playing music, as a professional wedding DJ I will be responsible for executing and enforcing the timeline during the reception, making announcements to ensure that events occur on time and if there are any hold-ups, adjust accordingly.
I will spend time before the event with the happy couple, ensure the music they want is included in my set, create the right mood with my specialised lighting package & ensure that everything goes to plan.
Corporate Event DJ
Provide high-end sound equipment from BOSE, tailor the music to fit the event, make announcements, bring on speakers or acts as required while maintaining a professional, smart appearance and demeanour suited to the occasion.
