Divine Divas - Boudoir Photography in Bath

Yesterday I had my photoshoot at Divine Divas and I am still on cloud 9 today. I was made to feel like an absolute queen from start to finish and I got far more out of the experience than I could have ever anticipated or hoped for. For anybody considering doing a boudoir shoot, my advice would be... GO FOR IT! I promise you won't regret it. The Divine Divas team have a way of making you feel totally at ease. During the shoot itself, I genuinely didn't feel anxious at all, as I was talked through every step and was made to feel so incredibly comfortable. I was more anxious about viewing the photographs after and I needn't have been, as they exceeded my expectations. I cried in shock and sheer amazement. Jesse (the photographer) had managed to capture a side of me that I truly had never seen in myself before. It made me feel incredibly emotional. I cannot wait to display my artwork in the home. This was the most awe inspiring experience I’ve ever had , the whole team put me at complete ease and made me feel part of the team the entire time. The welcome I received was lovely and almost like a welcome from a friend , the quick tour showed me what a beautiful place they all work in , the hair and makeup was done so beautifully and skilfully I will never be able to top that . The actual shooting of the photographs was a genuinely beautiful experience in of it self , the photographer was so calm and patient and put me at ease with the whole process. The professionalism was outstanding, he captured things I never thought would work but they definitely did . The coaching I also received from the photographer was honestly top of the class by the end of the process I was feeling on top of the world ! The showing of my photographs was done so fabulously that I felt like my own movie star , the prices of all the artwork I purchased was also very fairly priced and the goodbye from again the whole team made me feel like I was saying goodbye to friends. It will forever be one of my favourite memories and I can not thank the whole team enough for what they have given me !! 100% would recommend this to any body who is maybe struggling to find themselves or who maybe just has lost that love they may have once had for the person they may think they have lost . I have just had a really amazing Divine Diva experience. Life has recently dealt me a few lemons, which I think most women can relate to. We've just been in to collect my beautiful girlfriends prints from her shoot with Divine Divas. Divine is exactly the right word! !! Not only is my girlfriend jawdroppingly stunning but so are these guys. They make you feel instantly welcome, Jess is so warm and friendly. The photos were insanely good. It's not the cheapest of places but you are 100% getting what you pay for. The studio space is glorious, set in a converted church, it's bright, spacious and perfectly set up. This is no ordinary Bodoir experience!! This is an utterly transformational, self awakening experience to discover ALL that is beautiful about yourself (Not just the skin deep stuff). I have had two photoshoots - one lingerie and one fully naked. And I can’t recommend the team or the process enough. My husband does like to surprise me. He told me that I would receive a phone call from a hairdresser on my 68th birthday to arrange an appointment. He's such a liar! (In a nice way.) It was Jesse from Divine Divas. She explained quickly that she wasn't phoning to arrange a hair appointment but that my husband had booked a photo shoot with Divine Divas. I was almost speechless. I've never thought about doing anything like this before. I thought at 68 it wasn't for me as I've lost confidence over the years. I thought my best years were behind me. Boy, was I wrong! Several times I thought of backing out, even on the day of the shoot. My husband took me to Divine Divas studio. We were met by the team. Instantly I was put at ease. They were like old friends. I was so nervous about my photo shoot, I'm actually glad I took someone with me as I don't think I would've got through the door. Straight away I was made to feel comfortable, and having the discovery calls beforehand definitely helped with getting to know the people you would be working with. I can't thank the team enough for making me feel so special, that I deserve to feel and look beautiful and the amount of confidence it gave me was phenomenal! I had a divine David experience yesterday it was the most amazing or something I done. I am so glad I have done the staff at the studio are so welcoming to make you feel so worries I’m relaxed and just a photographer or some guy made me feel so comfortable and I’m so glad that he was a photographer is one of the best experiences I’ve had in a very very long time, and I felt amazing afterwards I would advise every woman to go and have an experience in like this because we need it. Prior to arriving, we did have high expectations. I’m pleased to advise everyone that those expectations were exceeded. . If there were any doubts / concerns from us about the whole experience, then they were gone within the first 20 minutes and the whole day was a very enjoyable, interesting humorous, enjoyable experience . This is such an affirming experience - I'd recommend it for anyone thinking of taking a risk and stepping outside of their comfort zone. The phone calls leading up to my shoot day helped me feel reassured and really helped on the day because the team didn't feel like strangers at this point. Jess was so wonderfully warm and welcoming on arrival which helped ease my building nerves. Shannon worked wonders with hair and makeup and transformed me, while I still looked like me - just a glam version! I cannot state enough how incredible Jesse was! He consistently made sure I was happy throughout the shoot, which made me feel that I was in a safe space to be brave and make the most of the experience I felt that Jesse and I worked well together which made the shoot so much easier and more comfortable than I expected. Viewing the photos was such an emotional experience - for the first time I saw pictures of myself and I liked what I saw. Had my shoot yesterday and just wow!!! I cannot put in to words just how incredible my day has been (but I'll try!!) From the second I walked in the nerves went out the window! Jo, Jess, Shannon and Neil immediately put me at ease and made me feel beautiful right from the offset. Shannon did such an amazing job of my hair and makeup and had me grinning like a Cheshire cat every time I saw my reflection. And the grinning has not stopped even though I'm home. I had no intentions of wearing less than underwear to begin with, but Neil had me feeling confident within seconds of my shoot. Within moments I was whipping my bra off and feeling like a strong powerful queen!! Seeing my photos back was just wow wow wow!! I struggled to whittle them down and just kept saying "I love that one" over and over and over! I cannot recommend this experience enough! I now see what my amazing Fiance sees in me and I am a beautiful, sexy, powerful Goddess! This honestly is one of the best decisions I EVER made (except maybe choosing my forever man)!! Are you doubting if you have the confidence to do a Divine Diva shoot? Just close your eyes and make the leap - you will be so glad you did. Whatever has brought you to this point, whatever your insecurities, however much you question yourself - like me, I promise you will learn that beautiful things can flower from the darkest of places. The planning, the phone calls and the whole incredible team meant I walked through the studio door and stepped straight into my power. Jesse had taken the time to understand me, I knew I had found a safe place to be brave and beautiful. Makeup and hair - fabulous (Shannon you are so talented), surroundings amazing. We all worry we don’t know how to pose - oh but you can - the amazingly talented Neill taught me that. He is an artist, a cheerleader, funny, and empowering. Im a 56 year old, with surgery scars and the toughest of years behind me - I simply loved every second of my shoot and ended up fully naked under a shower (oh, the photographs ❤️) Viewing my photos? At first I cried at the beautiful woman on the screen - but that quickly changed to YES, YES, IM BACK, HOW HOT AM I???? Jess was cheering just as loudly beside me. My advice is don’t overthink - trust the process. You are in the safest and most talented of hands. The entire team will scoop you up and make you bloom. A fabulous experience, something that was well out of my comfort zone but was something I'd always wanted to do - who doesn't want to feel classy, fabulous and sexy. You're made to feel special right from the moment you walk in the door. Your make up & hair done by the lovely Harriet and then onto your shoot, mine was with Emilie. She made me feel so much at ease I haven't laughed so much in a long time, you forget photos are being taken. When I went to review my photos I was nervous again thinking I'm not going to be as gorgeous and sexy as lots of the other photos I'd seen, but I am so proud to say this is me I may not be as young or thin or pretty as others but I certainly felt I looked glamorous.
