Aaron (and Alistair) has been nothing short of excellent. We were looking to get an EV charger installed at our house but knew it would be slightly difficult due to our box/meter being out the front and the drive out the back. From start to finish Aaron has been positive offering solutions and letting us know what is happening at all times. We knew some work would have to be done inside the house (opening the walls slightly to wire through) but again Aaron reassured and completed the work with as minimal impact as possible (I have some filling, sanding and painting to do, but he was clear at communicating this from the get go). Highly recommend! It was a pleasure dealing with Aaron at DEV Installations. We discussed the planned route via WhatsApp, and after sending Aaron some photos around the house, he got back to me the same day with a quote. I bought my electric car without a charger installed and no date pencilled in on a Friday. I reached out to Aaron to book a date, and he managed to squeeze me in for the following Wednesday - super efficient! Aaron and Alastair arrived as expected and got straight to work. Cables were neatly hidden where possible, and where they weren’t, they were securely cleated for a tidy finish. After completing the install, they cleaned up, walked me through the work to ensure I was happy, and even gave a brief demo of the Ohme app and charging steps. From start to finish, Aaron has been responsive on WhatsApp, answering all my questions along the way. The whole process was seamless, and I couldn’t be happier with the installation. Aaron and Alistair installed my ohme EV charger yesterday and what a pleasure it was inviting them into my home,, clean and tidy job,,, respectful,,, and great to chat too ,, because I'm disabled I moved what I could so they could get on with there job installing it , what ever they moved they put back in to place i. e furniture,, carpets 👍 it was like they never moved enthything 👍 I will call them back if I need electrical work done again 100%👍 thanks for the great installation guys and now I can recharge my EV at home 😁👍👍👍👍👍👍 More...

Having contacted many Energy / Charging Point companies directly (Zappi, Ohme, PodPoint, British Gas and Octopus etc) I was at the end of my tether with filling in forms, taking photographs around the house and drawing diagrams. With two of these companies, I couldn’t even get to the point of getting a quote as they insisted that I need to provide a photo of our ‘Gas Bonding’ (despite the fact we don’t have gas) or I needed to know whether we had single, twin or some other type of electricity (I still don’t know what this means?). In contrast, Aaron from DEV Installations took care of everything. He arrived on time (in an electric van) to provide a completely free no obligation quote. We received the quote the same day and the price was comparative to the big companies (cheaper in some cases) and DEV Installations were able to discuss various possible dates and book one with no cash required upfront - where all of the ‘big’ companies required payment in full, upfront, before they would ‘get back to you’ about installation dates. We even had a choice of multiple Charging Points and were able to discuss the pros and cons of each before deciding. Aaron arrived on time, had remembered everything we discussed during his quotation visit and the quality of his work was outstanding. Cables were hidden where possible and despite having drilled through walls etc, we had no tidying up to do what-so-ever. After the installation was completed, he stayed to ensure our first charge started successfully, helping us set up the app and understand how to turn the power off just in case there was ever a problem. Aaron answered all of our questions and we couldn’t have been happier with the process from start to finish, including our new Ohme charger which is much smaller and far more discreet than we thought - highly recommended.
