During my working life and raising a family I didn’t make the time to exercise and as a result of retiring, Covid and an increase in weight I decided that some drastic changes was needed in order to increase my wellbeing in later life. Finished my first block of 4 sessions with Davey, I literally can't fault the guy, I had some limitations with a knee injury and shoulder pain/clicking. Davey helped me to find a work around and try other exercises which didn't cause any discomfort. Davey is also very knowledgeable about keeping a positive mind set which definitely important when training. I really cannot recommend Davey enough! I've been using the gym for nearly twenty years - most of which I'd never touched.
Davey changed that, approaching me one January evening in the gym, "Can I show you something...?"
Who knew there was a technique to using a dumbbell properly? Apart from being a walking-talking self help book, he has transformed my gym experience. I am now using equipment I'd never thought I'd ever use for fear of looking like a bit of a prat.
Importantly, I have a better understanding and appreciation of how the body works and its relationship to exercise. He really has revolutionised my outlook regarding workouts. Sadly, my programme with him is nearly at an end, I will miss our sessions - he is such great company and you learn so much.
The only drawback is my wife thinks I'm having an affair - my body has sort of changed a bit shall we say in a midlife crisis kind of way. Anyway, trust me, this will be one of the wisest investments in yourself you could ever make. A truly authentic fellow who really knows his stuff and wants to share it with you.

best personal trainer that I have ever had. I have been having regular weekly sessions with him since May although I had to take a break when, unfortunately, I got diagnosed with a neurodegenerative condition.
This has been a challenging time for me but my sessions with Davey have made a huge difference to both my physical and mental health. He is such a positive and motivational trainer, very holistic, and an all round lovely person. I really look forward to my sessions with him and always end them with incredible positivity (that is no exaggeration). He can always see what my capabilities are when we are training and, through this, the training is very personalised. My balance can be a bit off at times but he recognises this and finds ways to adapt the exercises for me. Top top man. Came to Dave when I felt down and needed some help and from the start he was positive and was sure he could help. He gave me workout plans to get me back into it and from day 1 I felt so much better getting back into the gym. The app is easy to use and very helpful in showing you how to do the exercises. I had weekly check ins with Dave to see what things went right and any challenges for that week. About 6weeks in Dave come down and had a training session with me to see how the workouts were going and to see if I was doing to workouts correctly. I’ve never felt better and life is going good. What do you love most about your job?
There's so many things I could write here, seeing my clients change their body is amazing but the change in their mental health is my favourite part of my job. Seeing my clients become more positive, feel the best they ever have, which leads them to having better relationships, better days in work, and all other areas of their life, this is what I love.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I worked in a day job for many years, I wasn't happy at all. Alongside all these jobs I was always consistenly in the gym, learning more. Yet I still didn't make it my career and start my business for a few years.
I started this business as it's something that I really love to do, fitness changes and saves lives and I'm very grateful I'm able to be a part of this.
I'm also a very independent person and I did kind of have a problem with having authority figures telling me what to do, if I stayed in a day job I'd never have been happy and so many of my clients woudn't have got the help they needed.
Everything that happens in our life, we experience for a reason and this was the right path for me.
