I was simply helping my friend with his form as he was beginner, and the manager threatened suspension if it happened again. I wasn’t acting as a trainer—just giving my friend advice to prevent injury. The gym itself is great—clean, well-equipped, and convenient. I really enjoy working out here.However, the Rehydrate Sports Water that comes with the Plus membership is rarely working. Most of the time, only plain water is available, and there's no indication when a flavour is out of stock. The 10-minute wait before trying another flavour adds to the frustration. I’m extremely disappointed with the security at [PureGym walnut street]. My car was broken into while I was inside working out, even though there are cameras in the parking lot. What’s the point of having them if they don’t prevent crime or help catch the thieves?When I reported it to staff, they were unhelpful and didn’t seem concerned. They told me the cameras were there, but what good are they if break-ins still happen? This clearly isn’t an isolated incident, and PureGym needs to do more—whether it’s better monitoring, actual security patrols, or improved lighting.Until they take security seriously, I wouldn’t recommend parking here, especially at night. Good gym to start with has everything you need. It does get really busy and it's not a massive gym. The mens showers desperately need turning up to a higher temp otherwise you just have a cold shower. The mens lockers also need fixing as it's hard to find a locker that has a door or works. The managers are friendly and helpful for when you need them. Managers are always around the gym and visible. Managers are always cleaning the machines talking to customers. What inspired you to start your own business?
Being a dancer and dance teacher for over 25 years, I have had to look after myself. Exercising regularly has been a huge part of my career and my life. My interest in the body was enhanced through my studies as a medical technician. Creating Afro-Fitness dance classes drove me to become a PT and Fitness Instructor.

I have hand sanitiser and mask. Ventilate room and I still keep the social distancing.

The exercises involve completing reps using a choice of weights and are designed to boost your metabolism and burn body fat. This class varies from week to week to keep your body on its toes and ensure you continue to condition, tone and sculpt your whole body.
Shape up and burn fat as you lunge, step and squat your way to fitness. Using both weights and your own bodyweight. The high repetition based routines will put your legs, bums and tums through their paces in a bid to trim down those areas we love to hate - trust me, your body will thank you for it!
Balance & Coordination
Balance is the ability to stay upright. or stay in control of body movement, and coordination is the ability to move two or more body parts under. control, smoothly and efficiently.
Balance training improves the health, balance, and performance of everyone from beginners to advanced athletes, young and not-so-young. If you're new to exercise, it's a great place to start. Focusing on your core and balance improves overall strength and gets your body ready for more advanced exercise.
During each movement, different parts of the body take turns playing the role of stabiliser and mover, allowing smooth movements to be executed without compromising balance and stability.
