Had my 3rd session today 21st May with Stephan at the Amatsu Therapy. With both Acupuncture and Amatsu therapy. I always feel good after having his magic hands do their work. I have never felt better, having thrown my walking stick away. Walking the dog up to 1 mile a day and then doing 5, 25metre lengths of the swimming pool 3 times a week. It is incredible that I don't have to rely on pain medication so much now. I definitely recommend this type of treatment to anyone who has arthritis in the spine and neck. I suffer with Cervical Stenosis in my neck and Osteoarthritis in my back. But have never been so amazed by how much better I feel. I am 66 in July and feel like a new person. More...

I had Ozone therapy with Stephan. Even though I was nervous to begin with, Stephan talked me through the process answering any questions and gave me time to read through a booklet to ensure I was comfortable before going ahead. Stephan was very gentle the whole time and he explained step by step what he was doing to settle my nerves. Just had my first 3 pass Ozone treatment with Stephan (Major Autohemo). The procedure was very clinical and professional. The treatment involved me relaxing on the therapy bed and the machine doing the rest . I had 3 passes where blood was taken out and put back in 3 times during the hour. I didn’t feel strange or dizzy, I felt relaxed and confident with Stephan. The procedure as mentioned took around an hour. After the process I felt very alert but relaxed. I have recently added Acupuncture to my treatments with Stephan after chatting to him about the benefits. I have thought about Acupuncture for some time but never quite had the nerve. Such is my trust in Stephan that I decided to try it - I wasn't letting anyone else stick needles in me! I have had chronic back pain for many years and been taking regular strong painkillers and muscle relaxants. NHS treatment has failed to help and I felt I had tried everything else around. You name it, I'd tried it, I even bought an expensive home traction machine. I went to my first Amatsu appointment wondering if it too would be a waste of time and money. It absolutely was not. My pain was definitely eased and now Acupuncture has added a whole new dimension to it. Without Stephan I honestly believe I would have far more difficulty walking and getting on with life in general. What inspired you to start your own business?
After two years at medical school in Germany I knew I wanted to practice a “natural form of medicine”, some therapy with a ‘holistic’ point of view.
I decided on Acupuncture and have never looked back.
Why should our clients choose you?
The heart of my practice has always been about reducing pain and improving body function. Seeing people go from pain and restriction to feeling and being more alive and happy with their body is exciting and satisfying. This means that we are less susceptible to illness and are more resilient in life.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture involves the insertion of thin needles into specific points on the body to promote natural healing and improve function. It can help with pain management, stress reduction, and overall wellbeing.
My approach is to tailor treatment to the individual presenting needs. Sessions take from 45 up to 90 minutes to allow time for explanation and an interactive treatment procedure.

Acu-Point Therapy
Acu-Point Therapy stimulates specific points on the hands, ears or body using press pellets, moxibustion or electromagnetic stimulation to affect the whole body and promote relaxation.

Additional Modalities
Traditional acupuncture incorporates techniques like acupressure, massage, cupping and moxibustion.
We also give advice on yoga based exercises and breathing techniques which can help insomnia, digestive issues, and lack of vitality.
