About

I support caring, empathetic people—especially parents and Highly Sensitive People (HSPs)—who’ve been living in survival mode for too long.
If you often feel overwhelmed, responsible for everyone else, or like you’ve lost touch with yourself, you’re not alone.

Q&As

What I most love about my job is listening to peoples stories with empathy and compassion which is something they may never have experienced before. Then supporting them as we identify small shifts that they can access that help to move them out of feeling stuck and overwhelmed. Seeing the impact those seemingly small shifts have is life changing.

I’ve always had an overwhelming desire to help others. I’d often sabotage my own plans and prioritise other people’s needs over my own (and my family’s) to satisfy that feeling of being good enough; being loveable. I thought that was the right thing to do.

Until it wasn’t… and I was feeling so incredibly overwhelmed with my life, my decisions and my weight. Thankfully I was introduced to Stefan Taylor and his 60day2success programme and I was able to feel good about myself for the first time in a very long time. I lost weight, I learnt about self-care, about nutrition and how I was important too. Yet I still felt there was something I still needed to fix…

Fast forward to March 2020, I was in a good place (or so I thought) and during the mayhem of continuing to run my language classes via zoom, whilst attempting to home school and support my family, I realised I needed an additional income stream. I decided that now was the time to pursue my dream of becoming a life coach.

I wasn’t sure which type of coach, so I joined the Flow programme with Nicola Huelin and with the support of the caring and compassionate people in that group I found my Flow, my paramount purpose and passion. At this time I also read a book called The Body Keeps The Score, by Bessel Van Der Kolk, which changed my perspective on my struggles. I learned that it’s not all in my mind, it’s not just about thoughts – it’s about feelings. And there were a lot of feelings stored in my body!

This led me to read more about Trauma and I found Caroline Strawson and her Narcissistic Trauma Informed Coaching – after one Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) session with Caroline I became so enlightened about her Narcissistic abuse experience and the resultant Trauma, I felt like I was hearing about myself. I felt validated, I felt heard and I felt believed.

The years of struggling with anxiety, depression, overwhelm, people pleasing, emotional eating, procrastination, self-sabotage, over-achieving, imposter syndrome…..finally, I had found a logical explanation and I could begin my own healing and become a coach.

Becoming a Certified Narcissistic Trauma Informed Coach has enabled me to change my own life and has brought me safety and connection with myself and my family. I can’t wait to help you get started on your journey to feeling a secure sense of self-worth.

I now regularly practise self-care, prioritise my own needs, take care and support my family from a stronger sense of self. I have also learned to relax. Everything I have learned is a skill that I didn’t know I needed. And now that I know, I want to help as many people as I can develop the new skills they need.

That’s my story so far, and I’m looking forward to the next part of my journey. Everyone’s journey will be different. Everyone will come with a different story, different experiences and challenges. I am able to help you understand your story, heal and create your next chapter.

Bark clients should choose me because I bring a different perspective to the life struggles they are experiencing - I listen and can identify the root of the struggles quickly which then allows the focus of clients energy to be on moving into the present and then towards the future that is possible. I am kind, compassionate and future focused and I go at the pace that my client can achieve and follow their lead by flexing the use of the tools and techniques I have available to meet their needs at their pace. One size does not fit all and all of our lives are different so finding the start point and the small shifts is where we begin.

I have successfully delivered many of my services online or remotely using zoom (I can also offer teams, facetime, whatsapp video) all we need is a reliable internet service.

I took all my clients online during COVID and I am happy to respect social distancing as required.
