WOW WOW WOW!!! From receiving Vernon’s initial email and speaking with him, I really felt his genuine passion for giving everyone the best experience possible. He went above and beyond and further! Whatever we wanted for our daughter’s party he could do, bespoke to our ideas and plans. The advice given about the pros and cons of time slots was so helpful and something I’d not even thought about. Then we spoke about games and prizes. He took the time to bounce ideas together about what, in his experience, may be best for their age and then arranged everything with the dj all I needed to do was get sweets for the prizes! My 5year old had THE BEST TIME!! As did everyone else, every parent said how fantastic it was. From the equipment and set up to the incredible Tony, our DJ! I have done a couple of disco parties with my eldest over the years and have been to many, but this was by far the best. Completely surpassed my expectations by miles! In the run up to our wedding, vern was on hand for all our questions and was super accommodating to our requests. We supplied a list of a wide range of different artists and Vern matched our DJ perfectly to our event: Tony P! Tony P was just fantastic for our evening reception at Wasing on 25 October. So much so, people were expecting there to be a dead song to catch a dance break... but it didn't happen and people thoroughly enjoyed it! My feet were aching for 3 days after the wedding from dancing so much. He delivered over and above, and we were so so impressed. We booked City Nights Discos for my 65th birthday party. The price was very reasonable and communication before the event was excellent. We had DJ Mark and I was a little concerned when he hadn't arrived by 7pm. I needn't have worried, he duly arrived, set up quickly and people were on the dance floor straight away. Vernon was great at communicating in the lead up to the disco. On the day, we had Tony who was absolutely brilliant! He was already there when I arrived early and set up in good time. We had 32 girls aged 11 and 12, different groups of friends, and Tony did some games to help them get warmed up which they all loved. He played all of their favourite songs, gave me great advice about timings for doing birthday cake etc and he really wanted to make sure they were having fun. This is the 3rd time I have used City Nights. Vern is very quick to respond on any query and provide info requested by the venues. James the DJ has done my son and daughters 21st's and just last weekend my 60th. He is brilliant, gets the floor filled and keeps it that way. We used City Nights Discos for my son's 5th Birthday Party and we will not hesitate to call again for other parties. Vernon was very responsive and quick at replying to calls and emails. DJ Dave was very enthusiastic and excellent with the kids, He also had the adults up at the end including myself! City Nights Discos are reasonably priced with no hidden extras. Used City Nights for a 80's themed 45th Birthday Party and couldn't be happier with the service provided. From first contact, Vern was super professional and helpful with clear concise information provided and a great price to match. I have to be honest, I was worried as City Nights were much cheaper than other DJs... but my god! I would absolutely use them again. DJ Tony P was amazing. Great banter and instantly clocked on to our eclectic taste of music and...well...I have never danced so much in my life. He really helped to make our wedding day an incredible memory for all. We werent going to have a DJ at all, but Tony P played at my sister in-laws wedding in April and we figured, yeah a DJ would be a great way to follow the live band and cap off the night.
