EICR's
An EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) assesses the safety and condition of an installation. A completed report will identify any electrical hazards, damage or degradation within a property and recommendations for making an installation safer.
When is one required:
Homeowners - Every 10 Years
Landlords - Every 5 Years / Change of Tenancy
Commercial - Every 3 - 5 Years
EIC (Electrical Installation Certificate)
An EIC certifies all new electrical works within an installation for safe use.
In a domestic property:
Any new circuits, replacement fuse boards, most re-wires, and works in special locations (like bathrooms) must have an EIC.
This service certifies the electrical work under Part P of the building regulations, meaning clients don't need to deal with building control, as we can self certify.
In a commercial property, this is a required document by insurers, and allows business owners to feel assured their workplace is safe.
