We had our absolutely perfect Handfasting Ceremony, with the wonderful Lisa as our celebrant. Trying to find the right person is always tricky, but from that very first phone call, I knew we had to have Lisa conduct our special day. From the very start she was right there, supporting, advising, laughing with us. And we arent the most conventional of families!!! Lisa recently conducted the funeral service for my mother. My sister and I wanted to the service to show how truly kind and loving mum was and her fun loving personality. Lisa spent time with us and made it very easy for us to say everything we wanted about mum. She then delivered the ceremony exactly how we wanted and managed to capture our mum perfectly. I can’t thank Lisa enough for being the best celebrant I’ve ever known at a funeral . I lost my mum recently and when we were arranging the funeral I saw her details on a local Facebook page . I made contact and from the moment we started discussing details , Lisa made everything more bearable to talk about and I knew we were in very caring hands . What do you love most about your job?
Everything! I enjoy hearing about people, their stories, what makes them unique - and then weaving it all into a beautiful, bespoke wedding ceremony. I also love seeing the pure love on my couples' faces when they finally say 'I do'.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have been a paramedic for 33 years and started my training while I was still in the ambulance service. Then the 'bug' got me and I decided to take a leap of faith and I have not looked back! I am still a paramedic so that is a USP for any ceremony - I can wear two hats!
Why should our clients choose you?
Clients should only choose me if, after a call or zoom, we 'click' and they realise that they can trust me to make their wedding ceremony perfect. I will always do my utmost to make their vision a reality!
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
I am more than happy to do my meetings and communication remotely if that is easier for my couples - and then I am happy to travel for the 'big day'!
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I haven't had to adapt my services as I started after Covid-19 but I will always take into consideration any modifications or needs of my couples. And, obviously with my paramedic skills, I have most situations covered.
Witness Service for your 'legals'
If you would like to keep your 'legal' registrar part of your marriage completely separate from your Wedding Ceremony, then I can be one of your witnesses for your 2x2 ceremony at the registrar office and I can bring a 'plus one'. Just let me know and we can discuss your need.
Vows and Promises writing service
If you are stressing about writing your vows and promises for your ceremony, then please let me know. I can provide a service to help you write these and take away that stress. Your need to love being immersed in your ceremony and not worrying about any part!
Master of Ceremonies
Would you like me to stay after you ceremony and continue to look after you and your guests. I can stay for 2 hours or until the end of your day and announce that the carriages are waiting to take your guests home! Just let me know what you may need and we can have a chat!
