We had a complete installation of a central heating and domestic hot water system, powered from an air source heat pump by Celtic Green Energy, in January last year. It has been up and running perfectly for just over a year, so I called upon Celtic Green to carry out an annual service check and inspection. This was carried out on Tuesday of this week, after waiting for a dry day to service the heat pump which is sited outdoors. Celtic Green were intermittent communicators when installing our panels. They have been in a few months now and the inverter started sending all power to the grid. Then one battery went off line, then the second battery went off line. Celtic Green are nowhere to be found. They do not reply to emails or return calls. The installation was great, to a good standard, Dai the sola panel fitter was brilliant, left the place spotless, but the firm is a shambles, promise you everything, before you buy, but once you’ve bought, you can’t contact anyone, so disappointing for a local firm, even the installation certificate was someone else’s address in Carmarthen ,and Not mine, I did report it, so far not received the amended certificate, they failed to apply for the export number, saying that they had, but I found out different, by contacting the electric supplier, I have given the a chance via email to assist with my setup problems, but as normal heard, so disappointing

On 1st installation, I was sent an incompetent engineer, BUT then I was sent an excellent engineer. However, the 1st guy had mis-wired the FITs meter, which did not record readings. Another engineer came and rewired it. There was a delay in compensating me for the missing readings, BUT Mr.Jenkins, managing director, sorted it all out. Full repayment plus a voucher. It was a real pleasure to have Celtic Green Energy install my underfloor heating and air source heat pump. From the moment I first enquired, the communication has been first class. To begin with, the surveyor was fantastic and knowledgeable, providing me with the necessary advice which filled me with confidence that this was a company I could trust, which I was not left disappointed. The installation team were excellent. In addition to conducting themselves with the professional etiquette I would expect, for example, well-mannered and keeping the place clean and tidy at all times, they made sure I knew how the system worked before they left. If like me you are looking to reduce the cost of energy and go green, then give Celtic Green a call. In April I started looking for quotes for fitting a solar solution. A few companies said they would get back to me and didn’t and a few quoted so much it was obvious they didn't want the business. What a breath of fresh air to meet Celtic. What a breath of fresh air this company is. Celtic Green Energy were contacted for a quote to install solar panels . They made an appointment straightaway to have a survey of our roof. James arrived a few days later. He gave us a quote which we accepted and a date for the installation was agreed later that day. We were kept informed and up to date with everything via Beth who is excellent in admin. The panels were installed this week and connected a couple of days later. After having two SMA inverters fail in 11 years, I was very dismayed at that company's intransigence when it came to honouring the terms of the extended guarantee I had bought.
