I am very pleased with the job done (fence replacement). Daniel and Nico were punctual, tidy and did exactly what I asked. I was present during the different steps of the work and could witness that they didn't take any shortcuts: for instance they dug very deep to ensure better stability of the poles, i.e. they didn't try to save costs on cement, as others sometimes do. Daniel and his team have transformed my muddy garden into a beautiful patio just in time for summer. These were the most hard-working and tidy team we have had in our whole refurbishment of the house. They worked hard every day, were exactly on time and despite a few challenges with the hard ground, they completed the job to perfection. Daniel even recommended a method of building the steps that I hadn’t considered- and overall the outcome was better than I could have even pictured. I wish I could have given them more stars. Daniel did a reasonable job considering our previous contractor did a poor job. After over a year we tried to open the manhole but it was sealed. I called him to kindly fix it. He came and opened it but didn't mention it would seal again if close. He should have fit the manhole properly one year ago so we wouldn't be in this position. Poor aftercare. More...

I have been working on my home for around 5 years now. I extended my ground floor kitchen and had some other things that needed doing before getting round to finish all the work off by putting my new fences up and then landscaping the garden and getting the patio finished. I have had some bad experiences with builders who show up, go through what you want and then tell say you can't have that, or I would prefer to do it this way or that way because this is easy for me etc. The they want a deposit and as soon as you given the deposit=, you are lucky to even get the job done or what you expected your job was going to look like. I met Daniel who was on my 20 odd garden fence installers list. He was about 12th or 13th on the list. I called him on Friday 22nd September asking if he could help me finish some designs on my new fencing design and installation. He asked me when I needed the job to be done and I explained my neighbour was planning to build on my side of the party wall so I needed him to give me a full day just to secure the layout. He told me he had finished a job a day early and could start on the coming Monday. I had 21 wood fence panels and 22 concrete fence posts with the same amount of gravels boards. Other companies had quote me 4-5 days, Daniel said this job would be a 3 day job and it would be 3 days. We agreed a price and he said don't worry you have my word it will look amazing. And that is exactly what I got. I am still in shock that he made the job look so easy. others had said this is impossible or that can't be done and Daniel did my job so easy and kept a very friendly calm and confident throughout. Daniel and his team lead by example. Other companies could learn so much about giving a customer proper satisfaction and value for money. When the job was completed and it was time for him to go I was quite sad. The good news is I called Daniel the same night the job was completed to arrange for him to come back and start work on my Patio, garden/patio divide wall and garden landscape. I don't want anyone else doing this job. I feel so lucky to have found Capital paving & Landscapes Ltd, I know I will only pay once for the job and will not have any more nightmares in having a job done and then need to pay someone else to come and ask me for double to put right what someone has ruined. I have told Daniel that if anyone needs fencing or landscaping done and want to see his work in the flesh, I would be happy to invite anyone to pop over to me in East Dulwich and see the job for yourself. It's easy to get taken with photos of jobs that look great, but can you really be sure that the tradesman showing you the pictures were actually his work? Daniel and his team installed a concrete posted wooden fence for us after a winter storm last year. Their work was of such high quality that we invited them back on 2 further occasions to replace our rotten wooden decking and to build a retaining wall and replace our patio with India stone. I cannot recommend them strongly enough. They are very hard workers and well skilled. Everything was done exactly as we requested. They worked through snow and driving rain without a complaint. Daniel and his team laid sandstone paving in my garden. The job included removing a sizeable tree stump, levelling the garden which was full of rubbish, creating a raised patio with u-channel drainage and laying SWA cable for garden lighting and power for the shed.
