We had our initial consultation about four weeks ago and it was obvious from the start, that Sue was very well qualified and an experienced dog behaviorist. She quite quickly identified a few things which needed addressing. Most were relating to my 'soft" nature with our dog. She gave a few suggestions az to what we/I needed to do to try to gain back some control of our very stubborn standard Schnauzer and not the other way round. We have taken to giving the skull cap and valerian tablets, which has made a big difference. Sue also gave us help to try and kerb Sieggy's constant attempts to tell me what he wanted. This has worked very well and Sieggy is realising that I am in control and not him or am I kidding myself!!!

We have follow up appointments and looking forward to more advice and help to try to reassure Sieggy that he doesn’t need to protect us...will be interesting. Highly recommended. More...

We have been working with Sue to address issues we have with our Golden Retriever’s reactivity to other dogs whilst out walking and with human visitors to our home. Sue was extremely understanding from the start and it was obvious that this issue was one she could help us with. Sue gave us various strategies and homework to do. Very please with Susan, as she was very professional with lots of experience with many dog breeds. Very good advise was given with many ways to improve and train our Maltese Dog Dexter, to assist with recall, barking, anxiety with other dogs, and day to day situations. Susan provide a comprehensive report specific to Dexter, and within a few weeks we had made significant progress on all fronts, and Dexter was much happier on walks etc and with meeting others. Sue came to visit us to help with our cocker-spaniel puppy. There were a few bad habits we needed help and guidance with; barking when excited, a minor separation anxiety & recall training were the main issues . Sue was extremely friendly and helpful. She assessed our puppy and gave us exercises to use to stop the bad habits we discussed. Sue has visited us on two occasions now and each time confirmed everything in a report shortly after. She is always extremely reassuring and patient with us. Without her help we wouldn’t be able to say our puppy has massively improved and the bad habits are slowly going away. Susan came to my house twice and followed up each visit with written confirmation of the instructions given during her visits. Hi Rose. I'm sorry you were not happy. However, you had not followed the advice I gave you on the initial visit and not much home work had been done which was the reason it was not appropriate to go out at that time. If you were not happy you should have said something to me but you said you were happy enough at the time.
