Excellent dog trainers could not be happy enough, infact I was ecstatic, the first time I have been able to walk my dog on a lead or even have him near anyone, never mind without a muzzle, an absoloute pleasure to work with, and their knowledge and help goes above and beyond. I thought they’d be training one of the most difficult dogs ever but they instantly knew what to do with him and went straight to work, the difference is amazing and cant wait to continue working with them. THE BEST THERE IS. We took our puppy to the general puppy classes that everyone seems to do and to be honest, didn’t gain much. When we asked advice on lunging on the lead and barking at other dogs we didn’t get much help, until we contacted Jimmy! Unfortunately I broke my back and haven’t been able to participate in the training but the difference in my partner and puppy Bruce is unmatched. Their bond is like something I’ve never seen before and Bruce’s lead walking is perfect. We can now go and enjoy our walks now without the worry and anxiety of how Bruce is going to react. We had the most wonderful 3 hour stroll as a family this weekend and we would not have been able to do this three weeks ago without Jimmy! Jimmy does more than dog training, he builds trust between dogs and owners, gives reassurance, advice and words of encouragement. He’s at the other end of the phone if you need him. Jimmy is amazing!!! He's really passionate about dogs and his work. Within 2 weeks he's transformed me and my dog. We couldn't go on walks without reacting, lunging and pulling towards dogs. We lost all our confidence within each other and Jimmy turned that all around. Very down to earth guy and a great teacher. Both me and my dog have got our confidence back in each other and we can now go on walks and enjoy it. I can't highly recommend this service enough. Can’t recommend Jimmy and Alpha paws enough. Our boy Moose was scared of everything and lead reactive to other dogs. It was a nightmare walking him on a lead as he constantly pulled and lunged at everything. We have had a few sessions of 121 training and Moose And Me have come on leaps and bounds. After the initial assessment we decided a pinch collar was the way to go with Moose and it has worked a treat. He walks by my side now, mostly, if he starts getting too far ahead or looking like he’s going to lunge at something it’s just a quick tug on the lead and he’s back in line. Our training is on going. Jimmy at Alpha Paws helped us out quite last minute when we had been let down by a dog sitter, he was very friendly in all communications and eager to meet my dogs so he could get to know them prior to looking after them. He ensured we were happy for him to walk them and play mentally stimulating games with them too, which of course we were! He asked how and when the dogs were fed, about their personality traits, their vet details and any existing problems and really covered all aspects of their care. We were updated throughout the day of the dogs activities and I felt completely sure that my dogs were safe and happy in his capable hands! Upon return we had a thorough run down of everything the dogs had done that day including when they had toileted! Can’t recommend James enough! I have two dogs both with very different needs and his calm persona has helped my anxious dog coming to terms with meeting new people. He walks our dogs sending pictures and videos which is fab! James has helped me with the dogs over night feeding and walking as well as being at the end of the phone for advice! Spoke with James regarding dog sitting at my home for my 3 corsos. He wanted to charge me over £100 per day to do 2 visits and have some time with my dogs Wanted to charge extra £5 per dog after the first dog cause he would have to put a jug of biscuits in 2 extra bowls lol My dogs wouldn’t need walking due to not trusting them being walked by anyone else but over £100 per day is a joke it really is and robbery Obviously cares more about lining his pockets than actually the care of others the animal I do not recommend this company for pet sitting or dog visits etc

Jimmy looked after our 2 dogs for the day and we are really impressed. They had a meet and greet in preparation to the dog sitting. The day must have gone fab because both doggies were happy but tired after a busy day of walks and playing. We were left with a full itinerary of the day and what they were upto.
