Having done group classes, 1:1 training & now residential training with Claire I can fully recommend her. We made huge progress with Digby’s recall allowing him to walk off the lead again. We still struggled with his reactivity to other dogs so decided to try her residential option, he has been fully socialised & has been exposed to all sorts of environments with daily training. Claire is fab! We sometimes attend her group classes, which I highly recommend to anyone who wants to work on their dog’s neutrality or focus around distractions, and Claire also walks my two dogs. I have complete peace of mind knowing that their training is being kept on top of and that my dogs are having a fulfilling walk and not just running riot. Claire has been an absolute god send with her work with our rescue dog Cooper. When we first got Cooper we were walking him for under 10 minutes a day because of his reactivity and we felt like we were failing him. Claire has helped us get to the point where we can walk him twice a day and not be petrified if we bump into any other dogs. I would be absolutely lost without Claire. I dove in headfirst with a German Shepherd puppy for my first dog and was pointed in Claire's direction by the super friendly Basingstoke dog community and I've never looked back. From the 6 week puppy course to the regular weekly group classes, dog walking, 1-to-1 sessions and even the occasional dog boarding, Claire has transformed not just pup but me as a dog owner too. Zeus and I now get to enjoy confident and safe off-lead adventures and constantly learn new skills and she's always on hand to answer questions and provide support on days when a very enthusiastic and vocal dog becomes a bit overwhelming! I can’t thank Claire enough for the amazing progress she’s made with my dog, Pepper! After a not-so-glamorous incident where she got spooked and I tripped over her, Pepper developed a serious fear of busy roads and became incredibly anxious. Enter Claire, the dog-whispering miracle worker! In our first one-on-one session, Claire quickly got to the bottom of Pepper’s fears, and we soon conquered the smaller roads—huge win! But when it came to the busier roads, Pepper’s confidence hit a wall. Cue two days of focused training with Claire, who worked her magic by easing Pepper into road life with lots of fun play and clever drills. Slowly but surely, they braved busier roads, with Claire’s calm, patient approach working wonders. She was incredibly informative, giving me all the tools to keep progressing on my own. It’s still early days, and we’ve got plenty of work ahead, but we’ve already made some great progress over the last couple of days! For the first time in weeks, Pepper has been able to stroll past traffic without turning into a nervous wreck, and I’m feeling way more confident too. Claire is fantastic! We can’t speak highly enough of her and her expertise 🐾 We recently rescued Pepper (springer spaniel) who came with lots of environmental issues and no outdoor training! Claire worked with Pepper on a 2 week intensive course to overcome her frustration, lead walking and to gain a strong recall and… we can very confidently say SHE DID IT!! Seeing the progress from others we decided to book our boy in with clairefor some sharpening up, with the bully ban approaching, we did a 2 week day train to make sure he was in tip top shape and to work on any of our issues as handlers with lead pressie etc! Buster LOVED his time with Claire, she worked on his neautrility around other dogs (recently been attacked so we were worried it had effected him) Claire confirmed he was such a neautral boy and loves being around other dogs and people!! We worked on lead pressure, settling and playing! Claire’s worked wonders with our boy, but even more with my confidence as a handler - we go to sat and wed groups classes which I love so much, there’s no judgement and you can do as much as you feel comftable doing! Claire’s walk & train sessions were recommended to me for my 1 year old Rottweiler. Cleo needed to learn better manners in public and around other dogs - everything was a little too exciting for my big friendly giant who found herself kicked out of doggy daycare! Claire’s fun and knowledgeable manner has helped reinforce good behaviour in public for Cleo who is always delighted to see her. Couldn’t recommend claire & Jon more. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my dog, I’ve worked closely with Claire in training with my dog and the amount of support and knowledge she has and gives is crazy. C&J Pet Services have been wonderful with my little pooch. Being a hyper bundle of nutty energy, they have paired him beautifully with other dogs so he can have fun and get worn out before returning him safely back to me. They are very knowledgeable about dogs, put the dogs health before anything else and vary the walks so your dog won’t get bored. Also love the fact that when they say they walk him for an hour - travel and pick ups are not included in that time, so your dog does get a full hour’s walk. Highly recommend. More...

Everything about Claire and Jon’s dog walking service is absolutely amazing! The love and time they have for each and everyone of the dogs that are in their care on a daily basis is unlimited. The consideration and compassion they showed for our 2 year old Labrador Jasper was overwhelming and I still can’t thank them enough. We only wish we had found them sooner! We have since moved away from Basingstoke and Jasper misses Claire, Jon and all his doggy pals so much, we may have found them all at the end of our time in Basingstoke, but for the short time they took care of Jasper was worth every minute and I will ever be grateful. What do you love most about your job?
That I'm my own boss and i get to spend my day with happy faces and wagging tails!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted something that would work better around child care for my two young children and this is the perfect business for that. It also helps that i loves dogs!
