The gardeners from Cambridge Garden Services did a superb job on my front and back gardens. I hadn't done any work on them since last Summer so they were a real mess - they came in and cleared all of the overgrown flower beds, the lawns and cut back the large hedges. They were incredibly professional, thorough and tidy (they took away and disposed of all of the grass cuttings, weeds etc). I was so pleased to have a lovely fresh new garden ready for the Spring. We moved into our new built home with no lawn, and Cambridge Garden services helped us with the layout of our back garden. I have a typical long and narrow Cambridge garden - 100ft + patio. As I'm in poor health, I didn't have the energy to maintain it this year, and so not only was it overgrown, but also choked with weeds (bindweed). Cambridge Garden Services sent along 3 men on Bank Holiday Monday, and they did an amazing transformation. Pruning, weeding - including weed killer, dug up the overgrown vegetable patches, gave the jasmine a hearty trim and jet-cleaned the patio. I was delighted with the result, a complete transformation. They even cut a bouquet of the last red roses, which are now in a vase. Would highly recommend them, not only for knowing a plant from a weed, but were kind, polite and cleared away all the waste. I recently used Cambridge Garden Services to clear my massively overgrown garden which was thick with weeds, nettles and brambles and some other touch up work needed at the front of the house. They were happy to schedule these works around my schedule and were extremely quick and efficient on the day. I anticipated it would take an entire day but they were done before lunch! I used CBC to put in 8 concrete foundation posts on my garden fence where the original wooden foundations had rotted in the ground. The original posts were then bolted to the concrete posts and the fence was given a new lease of life. I chose CBC because they had done a similar job for a neighbour and I was impressed by the quality of the work. CBC were easy to deal with. They came promptly to survey the site and looked closely to see what challenges there might be. They fixed a date to do the work about three weeks ahead. Jo was brilliant to deal with. He was prompt with his responses to my queries. The garden belongs to a flat I rent out and it's a large space. It had been totally neglected for some years and was completely overgrown. The shed roof was rotting and the fences needed wood preservative applied. Liasing with my tenants was no problem. I fully recommend Cambridge Garden Services, run by Jo and Saber. They had done some small jobs for us over the years and we used them this autumn (2019) for a larger job. They were great. We nearly went with another company (cheaper) but i got cold feet when the chap turned up and suddenly was going to do things differently from my expectations.
