Sara made an incredible greenhouse cake for my mums 50th birthday meal last night. It was a surprise so she worked with my dad to plan the design and she really did get it spot on! The sponge was lemon (mums favourite) however there was many flavours to chose from and Sara made the process a breeze. She also delivered it to my dads work to convince and to keep in with the surprise. Would 10/10 recommend Sara and will be using her again for future bakes 🙂 More...

Sara made me this AMAZING cake for my 40th birthday. Not only did it look fantastic, it tasted divine - I had so many comments the following day about it. I couldn't recommend Sara enough. She made us a fabulous dinosaur cake for my sons 2nd birthday. She replied to my emails really quickly and sent me over some idea for us to choose from. This was also all done on very short notice which was a lifesaver. She not only delivered the most fantastic looking cake but it was absolutely delicious. We went for the strawberry milkshake option. Googled ‘cake makers Hoddesdon’ and Cakey Wakey popped up! Emailed with my ideas and Sara responded very quickly. She delivered to my door one big sponge and 36 cupcakes that were exactly what I’d asked for. We recently used Davis Heating and Air and everyone we dealt with great! Unfortunately our old oil furnace died in the middle of winter and it was time to switch to gas. Mike was very knowledgeable and caring when explaining everything to me and explaining the process. He went above an beyond when working with our schedules and working with the gas company and the city to have everything done as quickly as possible! Called my normal repair company for four straight days - got their outsourced answering service that promised a technician would call in an hour. They never called. Called Davis - Left a VM and Carmen called back in 45 minutes. She explained my options and we set an appointment. Then she called back 2 hours later and said they could fit me in today at straight time. Cody showed up, very professional, and got me up and going in less than 10 minutes. Explained options and ongoing maintenance, things to look for, and charged me a very reasonable price. My new service company. Fast, Honest, Fair, Friendly and Professional. Jeff arrived the same date of our call for repair even though the appointment had been made for the following morning. He said he had finished another job early and was in the area. He found the source of our A/C problem immediately, but said it would need to thaw overnight and he would return the following morning (as scheduled) to complete the repair. I called today at 3:30 to schedule a time to have my furnace fixed. I was shocked when they said they could come today. Chip the serviceman was here before 4 pm. He was very knowledable and pleasant. By 430 he had fixed/ changed a part in my furnace, and lit my fireplace pilot light which he didn’t charge me for. So grateful he had the part on the truck. I ordered a 'toothless' dragon cake. I was impressed with my service from the start. I contacted Sara asking about a 'toothless' cake and she emailed me straight away with 5 design pictures and prices. Sara was very friendly and contactable through out. The cake was beautifully made and incredibly cute with really delicious velvet sponge and melt in the mouth caramel icing for the tree. I had 20 friends over and they all agreed and loved the cake.
