I am disappointed and heartbroken 💔
Now saw a review of someone who gave a typical and honest review of Craig. He is a smooth talker and persistent until he gets the job. Unfortunately on my own case, he took 30% deposit of the job and never did the job he was paid to do. My £390 is now gone and it’s almost one year now! Craig is full of excuses, and lies cos I can’t imagine what would have made him not to pick my calls or reply my messages. I wish I have known better by now… I feel so heartbroken 💔

Craig the Painter – Full of Lies, Poor Workmanship, and Completely Unprofessional

I don’t usually leave reviews, but after what Craig put me and my children through, I feel it’s important to warn others.

At first, Craig seemed professional and did the job well, but that quickly changed. He used the wrong paint in my kitchen and then abruptly left the job unfinished, leaving me and my children without a livable room. The work he started was left in a state where we couldn’t use the space, and he never returned to finish it.

For over four weeks, Craig fed me excuse after excuse about why he couldn’t come back, including claiming his dad was dying and that he was in the hospital. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, but I later found out the truth — he was working on other jobs while abandoning mine. I have proof of this. He was lying, and he didn’t care about the inconvenience or stress he was causing my family.

The work that he did complete was poor quality. The wallpaper is coming off, the paintwork is uneven, and there was no attention to detail. On top of that, he didn’t clean up after himself, leaving a mess behind.

Craig is a smooth talker and can charm his way into getting the job, but once he’s secured the work, it’s nothing but lies, excuses, and no responsibility. He also displayed racist behavior, which added to the frustration and emotional toll of this entire situation.

This has been incredibly stressful, as I’m now left with an unfinished job, extra costs, and my children living in less-than-ideal conditions. Craig showed no care, no respect, and no professionalism.

Please, do not hire Craig. He is unreliable, dishonest, and untrustworthy. Avoid him at all costs.
