Good design to get council but no advice at all on practicalities of the proposed work. In fact it was quite upsetting after the project was complete how awful they had been in making no attempt whatsoever in helping to make the most of the space we had. We commission Brophy Riaz & Partners Chartered Architects to design a Morden housing development consisting of 8 large family dwellings. The design was outstanding, Brophy Ria, guided us through the process from inception, there advice was outstanding and we secured planning consent for 8 family house scheme. Nadim and his team were instrumental in coordinating all consultants, obtaining reports in support of the proposal, negotiating with the planning department. I worked with this firm of architects since 2002. The 3rd Firm I hadtried. The first didn't return my calls. The second wanted to charge for traveling 400 yards.
I read with interest another review complimenting Brophy Riaz on achieving retrospective permission. Why not get it right in the first place? Fear of the expense? Or the administrative process? We achieved planning permission in a conservation area where the planning officer complimented the roof design.
We proceeded to build in keeping with the other residences. A traditional design and a contemporary interior.
It's my belief that the design of the kitchen has pioneered the current trend of Velux windows and bi-folding doors in the garden. An important property that achieved 147% of its predicted sale value.

Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
A building regulations application may be required. We would carry out the survey of the garage at your home and prepare a set of drawings and submit the application to the council on your behalf to seek approval.
How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
Normally if you have a good height inside the loft it may be possible to convert. Permitted development rights should be checked depending on which type of application to the council is proposed.
