Hello I’m Bronia. I have my Grade 6 in pianoforte and Grade 5 theory combined with having attended an
ABRSM conference in London for teachers and training for music teaching in schools from Leicestershire Music Hub. I have been teaching both children and adults privately for the past 15 years. I teach at home in Long Eaton. I am classically trained but can teach a whole range of genres of music. I have weekly and fortnightly availability. I have attended many training courses including train the trainer. I hold a clean enhanced DBS which is on the update service and safeguarding level 1. I have taught in a private school in the past and undertaken work in schools in a number of disciplines. I have 3 children of my own. Equally I have run adult coaching sessions in a number of disciplines. I love being part of the journey of someone learning a new skill and developing themselves. I am very flexible in my approach to suit the interests and pace of the learner. I have had students in the past grow from complete beginner to performing on stage and others taking exams including adults. My emphasis is on enjoyment, building confidence and understanding, along with generally exploring the types of music that can be played. I combine practical skills with theory for full understanding. I teach on a traditional piano and multi-function keyboards. To date all my exam students have gained merits and distinctions including ABRSM Grade 4. Along with many others playing for pleasure and progressing. I am very flexible to fit with the needs and learning styles of my students. I will add in exercises and theory for all round understanding.
