After getting our 1st puppy at 10 weeks old, I was completely overwhelmed and wondered what have I done, not because my puppy was disobedient but more so because I realised I had no idea what I was doing. I reached out for help and thank god Ben answered my request. Ben gave us the reassurance we needed by helping to educate us, help us understand our puppy’s needs and what our puppy needs from us. He gave us some very useful tips about helping with environmental changes, explained how to train our puppy and different ways to do this. After 6 weeks we are able to understand our puppy much much better, look for signs when she is anxious or nervous, signs of happiness and signs of sadness. Ben has been working with me and our Labrador puppy for a few weeks now. Even after already owning a dog our new addition arrived with high energy, high drive and reactivity issues which we were finding overwhelming. Bens weekly visits have been fantastic and really set me up with confidence to tackle the week ahead. He’s very personable, empathetic and knowledgable and explains things in such an easy relatable way. His face to face training sessions are great for putting training in to practice. After 4 sessions our pup no longer barks at people, walks a lot better on his lead and we’re now passing dogs with a toy distraction. What previously seemed like a situation that was getting worse now feels like there’s light at the end of the tunnel and I would highly recommend him to anyone… and do! More...

Working with dogs for as long as I have, the time had come to venture out on my own.
