I contacted Dave on Tuesday and was seen on Wednesday for a great massage to deal with burning sensations in my shoulders and neck ! Interesting techniques, far superior to your "typical massage" to really target your painful areas with some good stretching too! What do you love most about your job?
Having people come to me in pain and after a number of sessions seeing the pain gone, or reduced, to the point were they can enjoy their daily routines again
What inspired you to start your own business?
My wife had a back and shoulder problem following a car accident and had frequent sessions with an Osteopath or similar to no avail. I decided to train myself to help her to improve her quality of life. Once I trained I loved it so much that I wanted to do it as a career.
Why should our clients choose you?
My name is Dave Hamlett, I am a full member of the Sports Massage Association, qualified to Level 4 in Sports Massage. I also hold the VCTC qualification in Hot and Cold Therapy and a diploma in pregnancy massage . All of my work is fully insured & to the highest standard. I offer a full range of massage therapy options from my base in Winsford, however, I am happy to offer home visits for those who cannot travel.
My aim is to treat everyone as an individual, I try to identify the underlying causes of your problems rather than just treating the symptoms. I start every consultation with an assessment before choosing from a wide range of techniques such as soft tissue release, trigger point therapy, myofacial release, deep tissue massage, muscle energy techniques or active and passive stretching designed to free up joint movement. I work on the full range of clients ranging from professional athletes to office workers with neck and/or back problems, or those simply requiring a nice relaxation massage.
I am more than happy to discuss your needs on the telephone before your visit to help you to decide if Massage Therapy is the right approach for you, and to ensure that there are no conditions which prevent you from having treatment.
As mentioned, I am pleased to offer you a mobile service. This is welcomed by many if they are in severe discomfort from conditions such as back pain or just wish to chill out and not have to drive home after treatment. This is available without any extra cost within an 8 mile radius of Winsford . Please call me to discuss this.
