What inspired me to start my own freelance construction surveying business was a combination of passion, experience, and the desire for independence. After working in the industry for several years, I developed a deep understanding of both the technical and practical aspects of surveying. I saw first-hand the impact that accurate, efficient surveying can have on the success of a construction project. Over time, I realised I wanted the freedom to choose my own projects, build direct relationships with clients, and bring a more personalized, high-quality approach to the work. Starting my own business gave me the opportunity to use my skills more flexibly, solve challenges creatively, and take ownership of the results.
