What do you love most about your job?
What I love most is the blend of creativity and emotion that goes into every project. Designing floral cakes allows me to bring a sense of natural beauty and elegance to celebrations, whether it’s for weddings, birthdays, or other milestones. Each cake tells a story and becomes a centerpiece for cherished memories.
The process of arranging fresh flowers is incredibly therapeutic, and seeing the joy on clients’ faces when they see their vision brought to life is truly rewarding. It’s fulfilling to know that my work contributes to someone's special day in such a meaningful way.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I left a career in a private school to follow this lifelong passion and pursue the cake business that has grown into the well known and trusted brand that it is today. From the very beginning B&B has specialised in floral buttercream cakes with a specific focus on sharp edges and realistic petals. In the almost four years since the start of this sweet adventure I have been fortunate enough to continue spending my days making towering buttercream beauties for some of the biggest, and most important events in my clients lives.
I truly believe I’m one of the fortunate ones, having discovered so early in life exactly what sets my soul on fire. I pour my heart into every aspect of what I do, and I hope that passion is reflected in every cake that leaves my studio. The immense privilege of being entrusted with the most important cake in my clients’ lives is something I never take for granted, and I’m deeply grateful to each and every couple who chooses my small business to bring their cake dreams to life.
