Just amazing ❤️ I had a fairly last minute booking because I was too stubborn to have a photographer until I was advised to consider a professional for a few hours, I've been in contact with Holly from the start going through all the details. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
First and foremost Bliss and Wilde Photography believe successful photography is all about relationships. As a result we take a consultative approach to pre-shoot planning and preparation and this continues through the day of the shoot and the final editing and presentation of the images. Our approach differs according to the individual needs of the client but what is consistent is a warm and professional approach with a focus on achieving consistent high quality results.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
It depends very much on the subject of the shoot. A great opening question is - What do you want from the day and have you seen a style of photography already that best represents what you are trying to achieve? This can flush out examples of images that resonate with the client and quickly gives me a steer of what they want to achieve and why.
What do you love most about your job?
For wedding clients, making them feel good about themselves and helping record this most important of days with the same detail and attention they put into planning the wedding.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Doing something I love. As the saying goes if you do something you love you never work a day in your life. It's not quite that simple but pretty close!
Why should our clients choose you?
We take the responsibility of covering a clients photographic commission very seriously. Getting the right result is an onerous responsibility. That’s not to say we can’t have some fun with it and our style is to put the client at ease and work in a collaborative and unobtrusive way. Regardless of the commission, our objective is to create high quality images that will delight the client and evoke a memorable reaction in the viewer.
