We are sorry that you had a bad experience. We did suggest that you would need a deeper clean or 2 visits for the first week to get your house up to scratch. However you were concerned at the cost of that and preferred to elect a 2 hour weekly visit. The cleaner found that 2 hours wound not be sufficient and she felt overwhelmed by the task. Thank you for your review. You may not be aware but Bark do charge us every time we respond to a lead. We therefore do need to be selective in which leads we respond to dependant on the number of hours’ cleaning required as we do have a minimum of 2 hours per week or 3 hours every fortnight. If a client has a one bedroom property, for example, it is more than likely they will not require as many hours as our minimum time slots. It also depends on where the client is based and if we have available cleaners in the area. We do look at all requests but cannot respond to all enquiries due to the costs involved and Bark also advises companies that are registered with them that they are at liberty to pick and choose the leads they wish to respond to.

We set up the cleaning business in 2011 undertaking domestic cleans and small office cleans.
Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?
No. The clients will supply the cleaning products and appliances, such as hoover and mop.

What inspired you to start your own business?
The opportunity to build up a reputable, professional business and achieve customer satisfaction. Most of our business now comes from word of mouth referrals.

We are professional, efficient and offer value for money. All cleaners are personally interviewed in their own homes, and references are taken up.
