Behzad is a Consultant Solicitor practising at Richard Nelson LLP and OTS Solicitors. She advises and represents clients in all areas of family law (Matrimonial Finance, Divorce/Dissolution, Domestic violence, Private Law – Children Matters, Public Law – Children Matters). She has worked with a broad spectrum of clients from different backgrounds. Behzad has experience working on complex Public Law children’s matters with more emphasis on Child Care Proceedings where she represents vulnerable parents at Child Protection Case conferences and Court proceedings.
Behzad Sharmin was awarded a Bachelor of Law (LLB) by the University of London. She also holds a Post Graduate Qualification from the University of Westminster in London where she attained her Legal Practice Course with Commendation. Behzad completed her Master of Law in Family Law from the University of Westminster.
Behzad and her team negotiate with the other side on your behalf, organise any mediation, draft and prepare legal documents and applications and submit them to the court, if necessary.
Behzad also deals with all forms of immigration with experience, ranging from Entry clearance visas, Leave to Remain applications including extension applications, fee waiver applications, no recourse to public fund restriction removal applications, Naturalisation applications, Discretionary Leave applications, all Family and Relationship applications, Asylum applications, Judicial Review and Appeal preparation.
Behzad is dedicated to ensuring her client’s best interests are the main priority in her work ethic and her flexible approach to each client’s needs ensures they feel well looked after throughout the entire process. Her dedication to attention to detail ensures no task is completed half-heartedly.
Behzad speaks Bengali, Hindi and Urdu in addition to English.
Behzad obtained level 1 Immigration accreditation from the Law Society.
Behzad has a number of hobbies and interests. She loves Socializing – Community work, social activities, volunteer work and so on.
