We hired Avon Valley Security to manage a four day festival and they were exceptional throughout. Their search teams were thorough and professional, locating concealed knives and drugs and handling every discovery expertly.
They’re the only company we’ve seen in over 20 years who, once prohibited items are found, bag, tag and document them, provide an incident report to us, and dispose of the items securely. That level of diligence gave us real confidence.
Having their medical teams on site made a huge difference too. It streamlined communication and meant security and medical responses were coordinated, fast, and calm.
Their team integrated with our staff and volunteers like they’d known each other for years - respectful, approachable, and completely on it. The senior leadership’s experience really showed in the way they led our major incident and counter-terrorism planning; everything was considered, documented, and rehearsed without fuss.
In short: highly professional, detail driven, and a pleasure to work with. We wouldn’t hesitate to bring Avon Valley Security back next year.

Avon Valley Security were a pleasure to work with. They were very helpful from start to finish- promptly responding to our initial enquiry via a 3rd party. I requested last minute changes to the booking, which they fulfilled and even tried to help source someone for a 2nd night when they were fully booked. We've used Avon Valley Security for our bar in Frome as well as several festival-style events, and they’ve been absolutely brilliant.

What inspired you to start your own business?
With years of experience in security and customer service, we saw an opportunity to offer a more professional, client-focused approach. We weren't always impressed with how we saw some security businesses operating and wanted to raise standards and provide a service people can really trust.

We’ve took every precaution - extra hygiene measures, PPE for staff, and adapting how we work to keep everyone safe. Even though COVID is a thing of the past, we still stay mindful.
