What inspired you to start your own business?
I'm a natural problem-solver with over 25 years of experience in business, management consulting and law. I also have extensive experience in the Family Court and how it is likely to make decisions about children and finances. Family mediation is a way for me to help you with even the most complex disputes involving children, property, pensions, personal finance and business interests. Compared with going to the Family Court, mediation is usually quicker, cheaper, less stressful and more flexible, and almost always results in better outcomes for the whole family. That's what motivated me to become a family mediator.

MIAM
Prior to starting mediation and, in most cases, prior to submitting a Family Court application, e.g. Form C100 (for a child arrangements, prohibited steps or specific issue order) or Form A (for a financial order), you will need to attend a Mediation Information and Assessment Meeting (MIAM). In your MIAM, we will explain the mediation process as well other forms of non-court dispute resolution, provide you with information about your rights and obligations, and discuss the issues that you are hoping to resolve as well as next steps. We can often see you within 24 hours of booking.
