What inspired you to start your own business?
What inspired me to start a CV writing business was a combination of recognizing a real need and a genuine desire to help people succeed.
Firstly, I saw firsthand how many talented individuals struggled to articulate their value effectively on paper. I work with people with incredible skills and experience who get overlooked simply because their CVs do not do them justice.
Secondly, I discovered a real passion for crafting compelling narratives and understanding what makes a CV stand out to recruiters. I enjoyed the process of taking someone's career history and transforming it into a powerful marketing document. It felt like solving a puzzle and using my writing skills for a tangible and positive purpose.
Thirdly, I realised the impact a strong CV could have on someone's life. Landing an interview can be a pivotal moment, and knowing I could play a part in that was incredibly motivating.
Finally, having helped my own children and friends, solidified my belief that this was a valuable service I could offer. It wasn't just about writing; it was about giving people the confidence and the tools they needed to achieve their career aspirations.
