Very helpful from the initial phone call and organising the pick up from Dogs Home in Loughborough. The day of pick up went like a dream with the ambulance- taxi arriving right on time for my departure from the Dogs Home. They were pleasant, welcoming and efficient in helping get my Labrador into the vehicle. The dog was housed in a large crate in the van , very secure and my dog completely becalmed during the 12 mile journey. They were most pleasant as I rode in the front of the vehicle. Very easy to converse with and most encouraging and knowledgeable. We arrived without any problems and most helpful on my disembarking with my lovely Labrador. A most enjoyable experience for my dog and myself as taking a dog to a new home is a big responsibility. You want everything to go like clockwork and it was all a pleasure. Definitely recommend the service for the conveyance of a dog or other pet. They offer other dog services. I was unable to board my cats in a cattery so contacted Animals at Home (Rotherham). Jennie contacted me, visited my cats to introduce herself, got to know them and search out their hiding places. Hettie and Basil were looked after exceptionally well, they were fed and watered, cat litter cleaned, treats and fusses provided, all stress free for them and me. To top it all a stray who I feed was also fed daily, which was over and above what I expected. In a nutshell, I will be using the service again in November as I am happy with the service provided, it was great value for money, Jennie even left some milk and bread for my return. I cannot recommend Lynette and AJ highly enough. They provide a fabulous friendly and efficient service. During a long period in hospital they took brilliant care of my two cats, keeping in regular contact. I had used their services in the past so had no hesitation calling them when I needed their help. They dealt with supplying food, vets appointments, flea treatments and keeping my property clean and tidy with great care. They are true animal lovers and I knew my cats were in great hands and being well cared for. Animals at home have been fantastic with my cat so far! I booked them for the 30 minute cat sitting visits for our holiday. They came over for a discussion on exactly what she needs & to learn her routine. They have a great balance of professional, but friendly & casual. They give updates, pictures & videos of the interaction to reassure you on how they're doing whilst you're away. It's all at a very good price for such a great service. Lynette, from the kings Lynn and West Norfolk branch of Animals At Home, collected my new puppy for me last Friday. I was extremely happy with her service. I chose Lynette from a variety of different puppy carriers because of her detailed email response and her reassuring words when I phoned her up. She kept in touch for the whole journey, from Barnsley, and as Amber, my puppy, was so small she put her in a cat carrier on the front seat with her. This meant she could immediately see if Amber became upset or needed changing-which did happen. She also stopped for cuddles with the puppy and to feed her. We have been using Con and Nora for the last 2 years and we are so happy to have found them. Both our dogs are utterly devoted to them - and beside themselves with joy when they realise Con or Nora have come to collect them.
Our dogs are so well cared for, and always reassuringly tired after a full day in daycare - they get plenty of exercise and lots of stimulus being part of the Con and Nora pack.
Both Con and Nora clearly understand the different personalities of our dogs, and therefor the different needs they have, and always take time to chat at collection or drop off, keeping a dialogue going about what our boys may be up to. And Nora is a font of knowledge about natural remedies we could try before heading off to the vet.
A huge plus point is how reliable and flexible the arrangement is. Not only can we totally rely on their time keeping, but we both have jobs which sometimes involve last minute meetings, or even unexpected travel, and Con and Nora are unfailingly accommodating and dependable. They have literally changed our lives, and we couldn’t recommend them more highly.

We knew Con and Nora when they owned a pet shop in Hampstead, and our Cavalier King Charles spaniel Phoebe always looked forward to visiting them for a treat. So imagine our delight when we discovered they now were taking care of pets for Animals at Home in North West London! Our beloved Phoebe receives wonderful care in their home when we travel and we are so pleased that she is looked after by a couple who are devoted to animals and treat Phoebe as their very own. They take her for long walks, give her lots of cuddles and even send us pictures and videos when we are away...That is very special care indeed! Following the sudden death of my mum we needed to arrange emergency care for our dog Bailey so we could travel and attend her funeral.
By luck we came across a phone number for Animals at Home North West London and in turn came in to contact with Con and Nora who were absolutely amazing. At very short notice they were able to take Bailey into their home for 3 days where he was treated as one of their own. Bailey had never been away from us before and we worried he would have difficulty settling, however, Con and Nora sent us photo's every day which put our minds at rest and showed that Bailey was very happy, loved and being cared for to the highest of standards. Bailey now has an extended family, his Uncle Con, Aunty Nora and cousins George and Ailsa !! We were very impressed at the care Bailey received from Con and Nora and would have no hesitation in using their wonderful service again.

After meeting them i was very happy and confident that Dexter was going to be well looked after while we went on holiday for a week.
