Cheerful, hard working, and full of recommendations and advice.

Hedges fine.
Trees pruned to much.
Took all large waste but still didn't tidy up.

Wouldnt recommend. Dan agreed on a price for some work, completed half of it, left material in our lawn and vanished after taking money for that part. He then increased the price for completing the 2nd half of the work, we agreed on a higher price and he still didnt turn up. Absolutely phenomenal group of fellas, they worked all day for 5 days with no lunch breaks to transform our garden from top to bottom. They cleared out all the old lawn, fences and gravel on day one. The work as usual was excellent the work required was significant but the tree and clean up was completed in a day! Excellent service. Fast, prompt, tidy and reasonably priced. Clearly know what they are doing.

They did hardly any work, charged me a fortune despite being all done in just over an hour then refused to negotiate on price. I felt threatened by them when I tried. He said if I didn’t pay in full he’d dump the cuttings on the drive. I don’t live at the property. My brother went to inspect their work. In his words “it looks like they’ve used nail clippers”. As explained when we agreed price you was very happy for us to go ahead at the price as you stated you only wanted a bit of the edges and we reduced hight you said you didnt want it left open so no more could be took from edges or it would of been if you wasnt happy with the price you should of stated that before we started not after the job was done and complete we dont work by hour price its by job and what is involved in it

Dan was polite and very professional as were the team he works with. His price was fair and they did the job quickly they left no mess and there was no damage to any surrounding fences we are very happy with the work they did for us.

This company were excellent and I could not fault them in anyway, whatsoever. They went out of their way to fit in my urgent need for taking down a dangerous tree. They turned up promptly on the day agreed and then Dan Evans and his team worked non-stop the whole day to complete the task. John, Douglas, Aiden and all the team were superb from the get go. Within minutes they arrived, surveyed, quoted and set up when to start rejuvenating our garden. They were prompt, polite, very hard working and really lovely to work with. You said they where as good as the Indian slabs, no difference at all. I have no ideas about those slabs so the words that you say as a landscaper mean a lot to me. I believed you when you said there’s no difference between them and Indian slabs. Do you remember cleaning them with our hosepipe to show me that they where good? I had my doubts, you reassured me. If you said that the Indian slabs where better but you can’t use them because they are expensive, I am so human to understand and I wasn’t going to complain. It’s the reassurance and the braveness you had when telling me that those slabs where ok that’s what made me not say much as you put them. Hope you understand what I am saying. And it’s not only you who said they where good slabs, your staff too said it. I went to research about them because they are just dirty slabs…all the time and I think I am having OCD trying to keep them clean. I am amazed with the grass, it looks good. The decking and concrete too are good and you corrected them when I made my complaint. But for the slab, I hold you to it…not good at all. More...

Grass looks great, the decking and the slab are ok but those cheap dirty slabs outside my back door are horrifying. I was Promised dark Indian stones, I only agreed to these slabs because you said they are ok, same price as the Indian slabs (yeah right! ) and they are not easily dirty.
‘Honestly, there’s no difference’ you said.
Yesterday, I went to look at prices for Indian slabs and those I see outside my back garden and the difference is way too much! These are cheap

Quick response to our enquiry, work carried out to a very high standard, Dan and his team were happy to do what we requested with new fencing, very pleased with their work and obliging attitude. Would definitely hire them again.

It is the quality of your work that upsets us most. We are not experts and we were not aware of many issues when you were present but we are still discovering new issues. The cost of fixing these issues is increasing.
Regardless of how we paid the fact is that the work was not satisfactory. You totally refused to take any responsibility for the decking issues that we raised with you before you left. You should also note that you did not start to build the brick storage unit that was included in your £17k quote and many other items were not finished. You did not complete the jobs we paid for.
In addition you left our property in a mess. Every day we found empty cans of lager and cider and even two empty bottles of vodka. Thankfully you removed these. But, there was hardened cement mix left in a few places, including our drive.Some windows and our front door were spattered with cement and there were old tiles and plenty of rubbish that was not removed. You cannot honestly expect a good review in these circumstances and I feel that it is my duty to warn people against employing you for this type of work. More...

Unfortunately, we had a similar experience to Annette and it is my view that Dan should not be trusted to complete ground/buildings work. We paid over £17,000 for two sets of tiles and decking to be laid (we bought these separately) and for 3 brickwork jobs (gate post, 2 sets of steps and an external store). We paid in full and Dan did not even start to build the external store and he refused to accept any responsibility for badly laid decking, where the actual joist distance was up to 75% greater than specification. Dan stated that we should pay to have this fixed.
In addition, the natural paving slabs are loose, the grouting is eroding and cracking and will not see a winter out. The brickwork steps are poorly grouted and the edging for the ceramic tiling was not fitted and the grouting for these was was not completed.

Ultimately, it will cost us a few thousand pounds to have these issues fixed and we would not trust Dan to fix it satisfactorily. More...

You didnt pay 17,000 up frount it was in stages over the 3 weeks i was there paid a lot of men to do a lot of work after each stage you was very happy to pay each time It is not my fault you paid a man i arrange to come back more money when he was paid by me to do decking then was arranged you paid him £400 carol was very happy with that we didnt really see you through out the job we did all the agreeing and aranging with carol who was very happy though out when paying money in stages and final payment you didnt pay any money up front only when jobs was compete
