I am trained in both Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy as well as Rapid Transformational Therapy which means I am able to help my clients through the full spectrum of their issue from root cause to future goal visualisation techniques. I believe that understanding how your mind works and responds gives you the power to control how you behave, think and react in any given situation.

What do you love most about your job?
Helping people to achieve their goals and overcome, often lifelong, negative beliefs and unhelpful habits that have been influencing and restricting their lives in so many ways.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always been a good listener and eager to help friends and family solve problems and overcome issues. This became a stronger driving force within me as I got older, probably because I myself had experienced many issues which I had managed to overcome, and therefore wanted to pass on how I managed it.
I experienced hypnosis to help me resolve exam nerves and the fear of being judged. This was so successful that I decided to learn how to be a qualified Hypnotherapist so that I could help others.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am trained in two effective methods of Hypnotherapy - Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH) and Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT). Both of these methods are powerful as stand alone modalities, therefore, I have the option to use one or other depending on what is best for the client and the issue they wish to have addressed.
However, I also offer a 'One For All' package which combines both methods and covers the full spectrum of tackling an issue or problem, all the way from the root cause of the issue to future goal visualisation techniques.
Having this ability to choose a wide selection of techniques not only gives me flexibility while planning a suitable treatment plan, but also allows me ongoing flexibility within the treatment. This is important because, as we get to know each other, and as the treatment progresses, it is inevitable that new things come up due to the fact that we are dealing with the subconscious mind, and it can store important experiences and beliefs that you may not be aware of until it gets 'jogged' during the course of treatment.
Empathy and understanding in a very non-judgemental way is also very important to me. I have lived and experienced much of life, and it has often been difficult, painful, and overwhelming. I did not always have someone to support me. However, these experiences have given me the ability to understand a great deal of what others are going through in life, and has also given me great motivation to help others realise that there is always a way, and there are always options, even if it doesn't feel like it at the time!
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
I provide effective hypnotherapy from my personal therapy room at my home, or remotely using Zoom. This means that I am able to help people with issues nationwide as well as worldwide. When I set up a session with a client remotely, I send them a Zoom link either by email or to their phone. You do not need to have a Zoom account as a client, just to have it loaded on your laptop, tablet, or PC. I always recommend a decent set of headphones to use during our sessions as this helps you to hear what I am saying and is more immersive in general.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
During COVID-19 I was able to continue with hypnotherapy because it is just as effective online as face to face.
IBS Control & Management
For those who suffer from the often debilitating symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome, I would like to offer you a method of getting back some control into your life, and managing the symptoms in order to allow you to regain options and choices in life that people who have never had IBS often take for granted.
Many GPs, try as they may, are unable to offer much in the way of treatment for IBS patients. Apart from being able to screen and rule out other possible issues such as IBD, Chrohn’s Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, or Bowel Cancer, there is little more they can do. This is mainly due to the fact that IBS is often a miscommunication between the brain and the ‘second brain’ in your gut. You need access to this link in order to rectify it.
Your gut and brain are in constant communication. It is a two-way messaging service: your gut will send messages to your brain updating its status, i.e. full, hungry, in distress etc. Likewise, if your feeling anxious before an exam, upset do to motion while travelling, or excited because you’re picking up your new car today, these feelings and thoughts will send messages to your gut which will react appropriately such as feeling ‘butterflies’, queasiness, lack of appetite etc.
One of the most effective ways of accessing this link is through ‘mind-gut’ hypnosis. I have a specialist qualification in this method.
If you have had a formal IBS diagnosis and are looking for help to control and manage the symptoms please do get in touch. I would love to help you gain access to better and a wider range of lifestyle choices.
Weight Management
If you are like so many that have tried various diets only to find that, although they may show some results initially, after a few months you are back at the weight you started with, or are, disappointingly, in a worse state than before!
There is a good reason why many diets fail to help you permanently gain or reduce weight, and this is due to the fact that diets only deal with the physical aspect of changing how and what you eat.
The reality is that if your attitude and beliefs surrounding how you think and use food don’t tie up with what you are trying to achieve by diet alone, then one way or the other your subconscious mind will do what it is programmed into thinking you want to achieve - that’s it’s job! Unfortunately, if we are not even consciously aware of what beliefs and programmes are running us then we are in a rather helpless situation to change things.
Therefore, in order to change your outside appearance, you have to first make the changes to your inner world.
This is where I come in - through a combination of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Rapid Transformational Therapy and hypnosis, I can guide you through the process of discovering what unhelpful programmes and beliefs are running your world that create your current relationship and habits you have with the food you eat.
Understanding is power, and hypnosis gives you the power to enlighten and create the changes you want in order to have a good relationship with food and have the ability to achieve and maintain your ideal weight.
If you think that this is a technique that you would like to try, then please do get in touch with me so that we can discuss a possible way forward to achieving your goals.
Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT)
I am a Certified Practitioner in Rapid Transformational Therapy, or RTT as it's known.
It was developed by renowned therapist and bestselling author Marisa Peer over the course of her 30-year career. Through hands-on experience, Marisa was able to establish what created real change, with real clients, in real sessions.
RTT is based on the premise that many issues stem from subconscious beliefs formed in childhood. It aims to help you understand how the past events have manifested themselves into who you are today. Once we have this understanding, we can the reframe and replace these beliefs to bring about rapid and lasting change.
RTT can be considered 'rapid' because clients typically undergo a relatively small number of sessions (often around 1-3) to address specific issues. This is achievable, with significant results due to the very specialised 'tools' that I use as a therapist trained in RTT.
