Our 11year old daughter is currently being tutored by Alexandra in Key Stage 3 Maths and Science. Together, they work through our daughter’s homework and Alexandra provides additional support and explanation when needed. The sessions happen online, which not only makes our life easier (as we do not need to drive our daughter anywhere) but our daughter is more comfortable in her own surroundings and therefore focussed on the learning. My daughter is 14yrs at secondary school preparing for her Mock GCSE and although she suffers with Dyslexia I was really nervous trying to find someone who could help Rebecca with Chemistry and Physics. Even before the session, Alex asked lots of questions to establish the key areas to focus on and was very specific with that questioning.

I asked Alex to help tutor my son who was due to sit his GCSE's last summer in respect of maths and sciences. What do you love most about your job?
I love seeing the children I work with change their attitude towards learning by becoming more confident and ambitious. There is nothing better than sharing knowledge and empowering people with it. My mission is to allow children to explore their potential and reach their goals through adapted teaching styles so they can fully understand their subjects and continue motivated in their learning.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My understanding that the school system can't support every child and their needs completely. I want to support children out of the classroom to motivate them and engage them with their learning and ultimately their future.
Why should our clients choose you?
I offer a huge amount of support in and out of lessons, as my phone is always on for any homework questions! I know, and the feedback I have received shows, that I am able to boost children's confidence and ability through simple explanations, personalised lesson plans, interactive revision techniques and targeted exam questions to consolidate their learning. I can provide tutoring nationally via Zoom. Online lessons, although a huge taboo after covid, are not any different to in-person. Every child will still receive personalised lesson plans and the support they need to achieve their goals.
