I am a Pain Specialist, working as an NHS Pain Consultant since 2005
What inspired you to start your own business?
Too many patients have come to harm going through unnecessarily repeated injections (cortisone); getting operated upon when not absolutely required; and getting dependant upon addictive painkillers.
NICE has recommended medical acupuncture for selective conditions but NHS Hospitals have been reluctant to embrace this treatment or invest resources into an Acupuncture Service.
By setting up my own Acupuncture Clinic, I want to bring affordable care closer to people as a safer alternative.

This techniques is based upon current understanding of the body's physiology, pharmacology and anatomy. The treatment is considered safe and complications are minimal in my trained hands as I am also a doctor trained in pain medicine.
