John came round and advised on how we could improve our drive way and front garden after a builder had left using cheap blocks to extend it and the garden in a mess. John gave us a very reasonable quote, with some great recommendations. He and his team started when they said they would and worked hard doing a wonderful job for us. Many neighbours have admired it since getting the work done. Active drives also did some fantastic fencing work for us in our back garden and stone work using material we had left over from removing an old patio. Overall John and his team were a pleasure to have working at our Home, they were communicative, on time and did what they said they would, listening to our questions and helping us get the look we wanted. Asked John to lift and replace a patio that had been badly done by another company. I also asked him to lay a monoblock path connecting drive to patio and a new step at our french doors. He had recently done a job at our neighbours and that is Why we approached him. Extremely good quote was given. The work he carried out was first class. Really glad we hired him. Polite, knowledgable and extremely skilled. You can see he cares about his work and that he prides himself on a high quality finish, a really hard working guy, keep him topped up with tea and he just keeps going. Everything was straightforward and questions were answered satisfactorily

Friendly, and work done quickly.
But in my case the drive sagged twice. Fixed once, then that they wouldn't be back as they did it so cheap, that it wasn't worth their time.
So, now left with an uneven drive.
Told to get another company to fix and bill them.. like that's gonna work. No company I approached would do anything of the sort.
Lasted a year, now looks corrugated! More...
