In the last 6 weeks I have needed to use the services of Above & Beyond Travel LTD on 4 separate occasions. All return trips from Telford to St Thomas Hospital in London. It all started as an emergency situation requiring ophthalmic surgery that could not be done locally . The process started with the very helpful Emma who made sure they had all the correct information to ensure safe and reliable journeys. Over the 4 trips I had 3 different drivers in Kayleigh, Nat and Matt. They were amazing. Accompanying me for the initial surgical procedure and then consecutive follow up appointments. Their empathy and professionalism was second to none and spending so much time travelling in new company can be awkward in itself but they made me feel at ease and almost like a new friend by the time I was returned safely home. Driving in Central London is a nightmare but they took it all in their stride. They really did go 'Above and Beyond' and that extra mile which is so hard to find in businesses today. FABULOUS SERVICE! After being recommended this taxi service for our transfer back home from Birmingham airport I can safely say they’re the best I have ever used. Communication was fantastic and even when we were running really late waiting for our luggage etc, Nat did everything possible to find us and make sure we weren’t left behind. The car was clean and comfortable and the driver Natalie was so friendly and helpful. This will without doubt be my first choice when it comes to taxis from now on! I Pre-booked two private hire taxis on Friday 5th April for two journeys approx 16 people in total. From the Initial call I made , the girl I spoke to was lovely polite friendly and professional with even a call back to make sure my request was booked correctly. Both drivers were on time ( actually early ) and waited , with a text informing me they were on their way and the drivers name and type of car. Our driver Ben was extremely polite and professional and drove at the correct speed with a lovely smooth journey. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The other driver Mark was also lovely friendly and professional guy. I would certainly recommend using this private hire company again. Wow!!!! Outstanding service provided by Kayleigh, Mark and the team from Above & Beyond Travel. We have been in Telford for the weekend with 9 children from Beamish Primary School in Co Durham, who are competing in a robotics competition at the International Centre. I contacted the team after reading some good reviews - we have to ensure the children in our care are safely transported to and from the venue and accommodation. We really couldn't have asked for a better service. They even took us all to Iron Bridge and told the kids all about it and the history behind it. A memory our children will remember forever!! We used above and beyond last weekend for a girls evening out after we were fed up of constantly being let down by one firm in particular. What inspired you to start your own business?
was inspired to start my own business because of the challenges I faced trying to find reliable, compassionate transport for my own family. Being neurodiverse myself and raising a child with a disability, I understand how critical it is to have a service that truly understands unique needs. I saw a gap in the market for a specialised transport service that goes beyond just getting people from A to B – one that prioritises safety, empathy, and personal connection. I wanted to create a service where every passenger feels valued, respected, and understood. Above & Beyond Travel was born from this passion, and it’s been incredible to see how it’s grown to serve so many people in our community.

To keep our customers safe from Covid-19, we’ve implemented a range of safety measures. Our vehicles are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised, with special attention to high-touch areas. We provide hand sanitiser for passengers and ensure our drivers wear face coverings if requested by the passenger. We also limit the number of passengers per vehicle to allow for distancing when needed.
