Topped up my oyster card, when into tge station with it out to tap in, security guy stood opposite to where I was going to (obviously) tap in for 5 mins telling me I was a person that barged through barriers the day before, their co workers new he got the wrong guy and was joking about it (and I respect it, that guy seemed calm enough), and all this despite it was the first time at bromley South Station in 3 weeks, just about caught my train too 😂😂😂

A small four platform station situated in zone 5 with fast connections to London Victoria. Right in the town centre so lots to eat/drink around. Wheelchair accessible with lift.

Incredibly Rude staff, made my fifteen year old daughter turn away with her brother who is 4 years old at 7pm in the evening because he was too big to be a four year old and forcing her to buy him a ticket when kids that age travel for free. The woman was white old lady with mid length white/blonde hair, she is rude and cruel and shouted that my daughter Infront of everyone that she had insulted her intelligence. She said she wouldn’t even believe my daughter when she said she would call her parents and then proceeded to demand proof. Is my child meant to carry my son’s birth certificate on her phone? I am outraged and disgusted and will be filing a complaint. Do not send your children alone to this station as they may face such heartless unhelpful staff members. More...

Station is fine. As for some of the staff….well a bunch of the most unhelpful moody customer facing employees you could find around the system. Grumpy not helpful at all. When asking if a train went stopped at a station was told “I dunno, I dunno” very moody and the. Just stared daggers at me.Come on if you want public support for your strike actions then treat the public with a small amount of respect. Always packed. Plenty of oyster machines. Good staff support. Although steps leading to platforms are a bit steep and can be slippery. Good information boards. Plenty of seating on platforms although platforms themselves are a bit narrow. Good bus links outside station as well as taxi rank. Small amount of ticket offices. Not sure if there's toilets. Trains are regular. Although they do not go to all big stations. Best would be London bridge. Otherwise a good transport links. More...

I just wanted to write some praise for the staff member called Adam who assisted me at Bromley South station late last night. I am disabled and wear a sunflower lanyard to travel. I had a man following me for over an hour after I got on alone who was making me very uneasy, eyeing up my phone and handbag. Adam accompanied me out of the station to my car and was so friendly and helpful, I felt much safer, so after a bad evening he managed to end it on a positive note with his excellent customer service. John, the guy in the ticket and information desk was extremely rude. I purchased a ticket online and never received the email. When we spoke to the guy on the desk showed him proof of purchase. The payment coming out and the confirmation number his response was check your email junk when we said we did that and showed him he then yelled check properly we then replied we did then whilst yelling again he said What can I do it’s your fault for booking online. I can’t do nothing. Then whilst I was looking at his name badge to get his name his then raised his voice even louder asking why I need to look at his badge. This is the worse customer service I’ve ever received. I definitely think the staff on the ticket desk need some customer service training his attitude was absolutely disgusting. If you can avoid going to that ticket desk then please do as JOHN was absolutely awful rude horrible man. More...
