My mission is to support clients to achieve positive and lasting change.

I have spent my whole life helping others, and now I have retired I feel I still have something to give.

I am an approachable and down-to-earth person. I am a non-judgmental practitioner who is willing to listen with empathy, to understand and share your worries and feelings. I am genuinely interested in offering a warm and safe place to discuss your difficulties and support your mental wellbeing.
Whilst I am not a qualified counsellor, and do not call myself a counsellor, I have substantial years as a registered mental health nurse in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating therapeutic interventions around mental health issues, such as anxiety, low mood, sleep issues, and challenging behaviour. All mental health interventions are in line with NICE guidelines. (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence).

I offer a free 30 minute consultation to see if this is the therapeutic work appropriate for you.
Session 1 is 1 hour to assess the difficulties, and agree an appropriate plan of intervention. (£40).
All other 1 hour sessions are £45.
A pay in advance offer of a block booking of 5 x 1 hour sessions is available for £200.
