I lost 1.5 stone working with Matt. I suffer from ADHD and I get very overwhelmed and Matt was brilliant at: 1. Making things easy for me to hit easy targets; 2. ⁠Helped me build habits in a methodical easy way; 3. ⁠ He was so encouraging and helped me reframe some unhelpful thinking I have about me and my attitude toward food. 4. ⁠ I really need that 1:1 time and Matt was very persistent in encouraging me. 5. ⁠ I felt Matt really cared about my progress and really cares about people and getting results. 6. ⁠Plus Matt is the only person I’ve worked with who has managed to help me lose weight. Matt helped me to completely transform my body and attitude to resistance training. After the birth of my three (still very little) children, I had lost weight but everything was "a bit loose". I never did any weight training before. Now, after having worked together for just over 18 months, I am in the best shape I was ever at physically. I'll be embracing my bikini this summer. Whilst the outcome matters of course, the process of training with Matt is very, very special. He is simply great fun to be around, makes me feel successful in our sessions and the banter we have is truly enjoyable. Lastly, I want to mention that may training wasn't a straight-line-up-towards-the-right. Matt for me has been a constant support throughout my fitness journey. His knowledge and experience makes him the perfect coach. After a slump and weight gain this year I knew I needed guidance to move forward and Matt was the only choice for me. His training plans fit in with my lifestyle seamlessly. As the months went on I lost the weight I wanted to safely and my fitness both running and functional returned stronger. I'm a runner and within 3 months he took 6 minutes off my 5km times. Matt has been training my husband and I for 15 months now and we are feeling so much fitter and stronger than when we started. We find Matt to be very reliable, always on time and very upbeat, cheerful and drives us forwards on a weekly basis. We see him twice per week and have a weight training program and a cardio program encompassing Boxing which I love. Matt is professional and encouraging and he helps us to stay focused and to keep us motivated and to try to help us achieve all our goals regarding our fitness and weight. i have lost 23 kilos in a 12 month period which I am really thrilled about, due to my training with Matt and also a change in diet and regular swimming and weekly massage. I have worked with Matt since my retirement in 2016. He is an exceptional trainer, and a cut above many I had previously tried. He is focussed on understanding my needs, and, most importantly, how to progress with set goals and taking into account age and ability. Being more senior in years and a complete beginner I was sceptical regarding any Cardio Resistance Training. However, My Doctor advised me to participate Matt's 28 Day Programme for Women because He thought it would do me good! I found Matt to be passionate about his profession, pleasant and well informed. Matt is an exceptional Trainer and Mentor, always there to offer encouragement coupled with sensible nutritional advice. I have just completed an online 28 challenge with Matt, all the information needed about nutrition and exercise was found online but Matt was also always available for support. I really enjoyed the gym work, the program was varied and never boring. I will keep up with my routine in order to achieve the results I want. It’s not just a job for Matt, he clearly enjoys helping people change their lifestyle to achieve the results they want.I lost weight and started to tone up in 28 days , I have a way to go but I learnt that this will not be a quick fix and I now have the knowledge to do that. I have just finished an online 28 day challenge with Matt and I’ve had some incredible results! Not only have I lost 10lbs and several inches, but I’ve learnt some extremely useful tools (both in nutrition and exercise) in how to progress with my fitness and general well-being. Matt doesn’t give you a quick ‘fix’, this is about a lifestyle change and he’ll teach you how to sustain this in the long run. He has vast knowledge and he’s there to offer advice whenever you might need it. He is also great at keeping your motivation up.
