The service was great and atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely. The hot and cold buffet offered a good selection and very tasty. The chicken, pork cuts (apart from the gammon) and pineapple were amazing. Flavourful & juicy. All the beef cuts had good flavour but were not tender. Mike has been an absolute godsend to us thanks to a recommendation from a good trusted friend of ours who also uses him. From the very first message he was a legend. I called him and explained how we needed a new host for our website that day! He immediately dropped what he was doing and got on the case. He happily backed up our site and moved it to his server and got it running again, as if nothing had happened. Boom, website saved! All this dedication even before any invoices were sent, nevermind paid! We went for a birthday dinner and drinks! A fabulous experience, the salad type bar was extensive, the prawns were lovely. It is a meat eaters venue really. All the meat comes to your table on a skewer, where the staff cut off what you'd like. The range of meats and flavours was awesome, superbly cooked. All you can eat! Great restaurant and even greater pizzas. We went here twice and both times we were very satisfied with the food. I had the spaghetti carbonara the first night, which was pretty good, although the pancetta was not crispy. The pizzas there were truly amazing, we tried the Quattro stagione and the one with Parma ham and rucola. The dough was so good. I really recommend them! If you want an authentic and delicious Italian food I would go to little Italy instead… out waiter was perfect but the other staff had a smell… if you know what I mean … not to be rude, just honest… every time they passed by we could not eat for the smell. We went early Saturday evening, I think they may have been short staffed as the staff they did have looked busy but we where waiting for food most of the time or having to chase people to get a drink, and even though they have a large selection of meats we only saw about a third of the menu in the 1. 5 hrs we were there which was disappointing. The acoustics in the restaurant meant that it was loud and difficult to hold a conversation. The table we sat at was very high and whilst not difficult to eat it just made it uncomfortable. I used to be a regular at this restaurant, visiting almost every two weeks because I absolutely loved their carbonara. Unfortunately, this latest visit was a big letdown and I won’t be coming back. First, the food just wasn’t as good as it used to be. The carbonara lacked the rich, creamy flavor I remembered—it tasted flat and a bit bland. The pizza and fried seafood were okay, but nothing special. Even the plates and presentation have changed, and not for the better. What made things worse was the service. This Brazilian steakhouse is a must-visit! Make sure to go on an empty stomach, as it offers a wide variety of delicious cuts of meats. The friendly staff are more than happy to grab your favourite meats and bring them out to the table. We had dinner at Casa Brasilia Rodizio in York and honestly, I am stuffed! If you love meat, this place is heaven. My partner fell in love with ribeye and Argentinian beef, medium, and even pork was exceptional. I usually go for well-done and even that was super tasty — juicy, flavorful, just perfect. They just keep bringing different meats around, and it’s all unlimited. Plus, there’s a buffet with loads of fresh salads, rice, potatoes, fruit, cheese — you name it. What do you love most about your job?
I enjoy learning new skills and applying them to the projects I'm working on. I'm not a person who likes to do one job, and having a variety of clients is what I enjoy. I also enjoy the freedom of being self employed and regularly take breaks during the day to walk the dogs.
What inspired you to start your own business?
While making websites for people in my spare time, the company I worked for closed, and rather than looking for a new job, I continued to create websites. I've never looked back. It's something I really enjoy.
