I provide high quality design drawings that include 3d colour images of the proposals. I work on a stage by stage basis and invoice at the relevant stages. I meet with home owners at the initial stage when they are considering how they can update and improve their homes. This is a free consultation and we discuss what you wish to do and how we might achieve this. Once instructed to proceed, I will measure up the existing house and then provide sketch drawings for discussion. I also handle the planning application process and the building regulations application. I will also arrange estimates from local builders at sketch stage and then quotes at building regulations stage. Once you have planning permission, building regulations approval, and are happy to proceed with a builder then i will still be available to answer any queries during the construction work. There is further information on my website and examples of drawings as well as photos of completed projects.

What do you love most about your job?

I obviously love problem solving and being creative, but the main reason that i love what i do is that you can see the value added to peoples lives by the transformation of outdated homes into something that actually improves our quality of life. We spend the majority of our time indoors and a big proportion of this is at home. Creating a family room with lots of natural light and views onto the garden are a typical solution to outdated housing and can really change the way we use our homes.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Until 2018 i ran an architects practice in Cheshire with my wife. We worked on all types of projects from house extensions to barn conversions to wine bars. In 2019 i decided to start a new company that specialises in small house extensions. This allows me to concentrate of the type of jobs that i love and offer clients an expert service at more competitive prices.

Why should our clients choose you?

I have a wealth of experience from the last 20 years working in small architects practices - and also from self build projects. I spend much of my spare time building anything from garden buildings to house extensions and this first hand experience of the building process helps inform my designs and achieve value for money. The design drawings are of high quality and combined with 3d colour images really allow my clients to understand the proposals from the initial sketch drawings. I take on a limited number of projects and offer a quick and efficient service.
