What inspired you to start your own business?
ICI Architecture Studio was formed on the basis of trying to break the traditional architectural mould!
We knew that there was areas as a sector things can be improved to improve the quality of service clients recieve!
So we identified some of our clients typical issues and addressed them in our brand new business!
Some of which are incorporated into our company DNA and values!

ICI Architecture Studio does offer services remotely and online. We offer this service to both UK & International Clients.
We can offer initial consultations virtually through Zoom, WhatsApp and Facetime at a time to suit you!
Our initial consultations are free of charge with no obligation to use any of our services.
Throughout these consultations we will show you examples of our work and how we can help you with your project.
With virtual tours we will then finalise a brief with you. We will ask for photographs or the video of your existing property to formulate our proposal.
As part of our fee proposals we also include some of our initial ideas and recommendations for you to review and take away with you. Its one of our ways of going above and beyond for our clients! (We are yet to come across a practice that gives away initial ideas for Free! but we do! )
After the initial meeting like ourselves, our clients are usually very eager and excited to get started!
Should a client be self isolating due to Covid -19 we have a number of options for the next steps.
- We can continue to formulate a proposal from the videos and walk through sketches.
-Happy to provide measurements yourself?
If a client is happy to measure the property and send us a rough sketch we can more than happy facilitate that and plot our drawings accordingly. In these instances where it is safe to do so and with the clients approval we will revisit the property and carry out a full survey to check our dimensions match prior to any planning submission or start of construction works.
- If you would like to measure the property yourself and have any questions please don't hesitate to contact us and we will show you exactly what we need over Zoom, Facetime or WhatsApp!
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
ICI Architecture Studio is committed to keeping our clients as safe as possible during the Covid-19 pandemic and follows the government guidance closely.
We have implemented a number of options for our clients to choose from.
- Digital Consultations - We are available on Zoom, Facetime, Whatsapp and loads of alternative methods so you can see our screen and you can show us around your property.
- Face to Face Consultations & House Surveys:
- Face to face appointments and House Surveys continued to be made to available to all of our clients, with the following procedures implemented.
- Prior to any home visit or face to face appointment. All clients will be asked whether they are self isolating, have been advised by NHS track and trace or have symptoms of Covid-19. If any of these conditions apply we will more than happily arrange a visit to another time.
- All of our equipment is sanitised before and after every visit.
- Whenever we enter a property or meet a client face to face we will always wear Surgical Grade Masks designed for clinical settings to reduce any risk of transmission between yourself and us.
By choosing to use Surgical Grade Masks we are committed to go above the current standards set by the government.
- In addition we will wear disposable gloves for the duration of our visit.
- When carrying out surveys in small rooms we may ask our clients to step out of the room whilst we carry out the relevant measurements for the house survey.
- Where feasible to do so we will stay 2m apart.

Initial Consultations
We offer initial consultations with us to advise how we can help make your intial idea become a reality.
We will work with you to provide a finalised brief and offer intial ideas!
Feasibility Studies
Once our survey has been completed the excitement begins!
We will finalise any last minute thoughts or ideas with you and then start preparing our initial scheme!
All of our feasibility studies include a copy of the proposals including plans, elevations, sections and site plans.
As well as our exciting 3D Visuals and walkthrough videos for you to keep!
As per our values we offer the ‘freedom to be flexible’ which allows us to make any changes before your project starts to be built!
Planning Applications
We will help you navigate the tricky and often complex planning application process!
We will complete and submit your planning application on your behalf.
Prepare any relevant supporting statements such as Design Access Statement, Heritage Statement & Conservation statment.
Together with all of the required documents for planning.
We will contact the local authority for updates and answer any questions raised.
We aim to make the process as stress free as possible for all of our clients!
Building Regulations
Our Building Regulations Service is where we start to provide the technical details needed for your project.
Our technical details and full specifications will be used to enable your chosen contractor to provide a quotation and construction of the project as well as be used for your Building Regulations Application.
Our Building Regulations service follows UK law, Building Regulations and NHBC Guidelines.
Tender Return Analysis
Our Tender Return Analysis service is a brilliant service to ensure all of our clients achieve the same great value for money as they do with working with us!
As part of this service we invite 3-5 suppliers to quote for the project and provide cost breakdown for each section of work.
This allows us to identify which supplier to potentially appoint.
Interior Design Services
Struggling to get your head around how to make the best use of a tricky space? Whether you have 1 room or 1,000 rooms we are here to help.
We can help make smaller spaces seem more spacious and help guide you towards the right type of furniture and colour pallets to help make your tricky space become a space that you will be able to enjoy for many years!

Landscape Designs
ICI Architecture Studio offers landscaping proposals as part of our services.
We can help with problem solving, scheme proposals, change of use applications (Agricultural to Domestic).
We also offer our 3D Visualisation service as part of our range of services for our clients.
We have delivered our services here in the UK & also Internationally as far as Mustique Island in St Vincent!
3D Modeling and Visualisation
We offer 3D modeling services and visualisation services for all of our projects.
Permitted Development / Certificate of Lawful Development Applications
In some circumstances clients can submit a Permitted Development Application as opposed to traditional planning applications.
ICI Architecture Studio can advise on your eligibility for this service and will provide and submit the required drawings and documents to support the application on your behalf.
