We recently commissioned Lindsey to do some drawings for a number of alterations in our house. We went out for a number of quotes but Lindsey was the fastest to respond, provided good solid advice and did not have the sales vaneer that others imposed on us. Incredibly, she was also the best on price. We have had our drawings, which were done in the space of a week and it was no trouble for further alterations we requested. How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
Usually all garage spaces are suitable for conversion but it has to have a good head height and internal space, not too narrow.

Architect to create plans- designing the space
Usually planning permission is required for a change of use application depending on the job. Your Architect will advise. so then a planning application is created and submitted
A structural engineer can sometimes then get involved to calculate the steels if needed,
Then building control application
Then builder comes in to start

Building regulations are standards for virtually every new building. It differs from planning permission and is needed in most projects. LK Architecture can provide BC drawings and submit the application
