When your business website isn't being found by your customers, when people visit your site but don't call you to book up or make an appointment, come and have a talk.
A better website starts with a conversation.
SEO is more than just appearing in the search engine ... Good SEO works to match your business goals to the wants and needs of those searching for you service.
When I work with a small business I work as their Website & Business Developer
Clearly identifying their Unique Selling Points - the reason that your future clients will choose you over your competitor.
This exploration and discovery work is used in tandem with 'Keyword Research' to build quality content that 'speaks' to your visitors and develops trust and a connection with them to help turn 'the visitor' into the 'action taker'
Creating quality content and optimising your website is time consuming and, even for those who are pretty tech savvy, quite a lot to learn.
I break down the stages of SEO and Website Improvement and help you at every step of the way.
Unlike some SEO companies that insert standard 'text' and 'keywords' and build some general links back to your website, we work side by side to develop a unique, relevant site that showcases your services and focuses each page on a specific goal.
I like to come and meet you and talk through whatever it is that you feel you need help with. We'll explore what your business goals are and what your customers are looking for and work on your website and your overall web branding to help fully support your business.
I run a small business and so I fully understand what it's like to juggle all the different, but essential tasks that you need to in order to keep the business growing and developing.

What do you love most about your job?
I really enjoy seeing how the whole process of Website Development really changes the way my clients see their own business and discover new niches and opportunities during the process.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Working is more than about earning money, though that's really important and I no longer undersell myself. For me I need to believe that the time I spent 'today' made a difference in some way ... even if it was something really small like helping a client with their 'Newsletter'.
Why should our clients choose you?
For the time I am working with a client I become part of their business team ... I really do. I have to fully understand their business in order to see the SEO possibilities and suggest ideas and opportunities.
I believe that every business owner should take ownership of their website and my goal in every project is to give the client all the tools they need to manage their own website ... or at least to understand how they could if they wanted to.
I also like to think that at the end of the process clients can see 'why' SEO works and how they can do it themselves.
I also don't work with business that I don't think I am able to help, and I will be honest and tell a prospective client if I think that this is the case.

The 'I Don't Appear in the Search Results' Website
My client, http://www.consultsallypotter.co.uk had spent time and money on developing her website only to find that she still wasn't getting any leads or enquiries through the website and didn't seem to ever appear in the search engines when she searched for her service in her area. The problem was really one of the web designer not incorporating any of the search engine optimisation elements into the project. No keyword research and no content development around that keyword research. Furthermore, there was no SEO development work done on the structure of the site, use of 'title tags', 'description tags', correct use of 'Headings' and 'first paragraphs' or 'internal link development' and equally there had been off site SEO done either ... quality link building, directory listing or profile development. I worked closely with the client to understand her 'Business Goals' and who her 'Target Client' is. We developed the site to market her service as an Executive Coach in Manchester who also offers 'Psychotherapy & Counselling' and 'Self Help Groups'. Sally is now found at the top of the search engines for some of the most competitive search terms such as 'Executive Coaching in Manchester' or 'Personal Development Groups in Manchester' or 'Counselling for Anxiety in Manchester'. Search Engine Optimisation and Website Business development is ongoing to continue to grow Sally's therapy practice.
