It has only been 3 days since our 1 to 1 meeting with Theo and we have already seen an improvement in Oscars anxiety levels when out on walks. Theo helped us to understand how how Oscar is feeling and how to spot the signs when it’s getting too much for him. We feel a lot more relaxed and we do not put any pressure on Oscar to walk. We now know that it’s not the end of the world if he misses a walk and that spending time at home playing and training is just as important. More...

Organised a session with Theo at extremely short notice and just before Christmas to tackle some emerging issues with the children and our puppy. She was extremely knowledgeable and understanding and we promptly made the changes she suggested. Instead of having an excitable puppy biting people he happily watched presents being opened from his playpen and had a great time meeting relatives. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for advice about their dog. More...

Theo I can’t thank you enough for your advice, support and incredible ideas. Puppy parenting is hard, harder than I thought! My little whirlwind arrived all cute and cuddly, and in 3 weeks turned into a teething monster! I absolutely adore him, he is highly intelligent, and learns quickly. But I was confused, I read the manuals I was doing what they said! Yet he wasn’t doing what I wanted. I truly was at my witness end! On one hand I have a puppy that is so quick learn and a joy, to this monster that was causing a lot of stress. Children and puppies! We think they go. They didn’t and this was making me question my decision, was I being responsible to them both. I didn’t tell Theo how worried I was. I didn’t really need to, she answered my questions before I had even asked them. Explained why the nipping happens. And it turns out it’s my fault, my daughters fault. Although love him were making bad choices for our puppy, we were not allowing him to be him. It was my sister that pushed me to find someone, Theo was the first trainer on the list on bark.com I read the reviews, saw a photo of her and knew instantly she was the one trainer I wanted, I didn’t bother to contact anyone else, I don’t know why, something just clicked. We had 1 hour call and by the end of it my energy levels were up, my puppy was responding! In less than 30 mins he had nailed the first task we were set, in 1 hour he had nailed the second. for 3 weeks we trained the usual , sit, paw, etc sure he did it and did it well, but the new ones, come and touch have changed my life. Theo gave me ideas around making feeding in interesting ways, and ideas on how we can give him things to do. Within in that evening the nipping towards the adults changed, we have work to do with my daughter, she needs to listen and understand more, but ultimately that’s not the puppies fault he is a baby. Now armed with knowledge, support and advice available in the group the next big task of walking doesn’t seem so hard! Theo thank you for your calm, sensible, reassuring approach, your very nature makes it all so easy! More...

Theo’s virtual visit with us was arranged through LRRSE as our new foster dog had shown some aggression to our family dog. The session was held via zoom, which is a simple video chat type platform which Theo recorded and sent us the recording to refer back to. The session itself was really helpful in both identifying the root of the issue and learning about things we could do to avoid and deal with any situations if they arise, as well as looking at the bigger picture in terms of what could be encouraging the behaviour and what could positively discourage the behaviour. I’m not sure if Theo secretly waved a magic virtual wand, but the session has been a great success. We would highly recommend Theo to others More...

I found out about this place through a Groupom play date. I took my daughter and she insisted on having her birthday party here. Each visit, I was pleased with the great hospitality and decided to book. I am very impressed with the sensitivity and staff patience. My cell phone battery died and I did not have my charger. The owner not only loaned me a charger but offered to take complimentary photos while my phone charged. I was expecting a two or three pictures but the owner sent me 42 mostly high quality pictures of my daughter's birthday party and did not charge me. I was surprised they did not charge me for the photos because I saw they have photo booth al le carte. They just thanked me for being a repeat customer and comped the pictures. I enjoyed staff professionalism. Staff consistently went above and beyond making sure the water temperature was appropriate. I also want to point out the owner continuously prompted staff to sanitize each time a child got up. Staff used pedicure slippers but some of the kids didn't didn't keep them on long.Throughout the party, there was also a lot of coaching to keep the kids entertained throughoutl. We tried to clean up our mess from the party but staff made it clear they would take care of any mess and urged us to enjoy our time with our family. I just had my niece birthday party .Staff very professional waited on us the entire time. My niece spilled a bag of chips on the floor and we tried to clean the mess up but the owner insisted we enjoy the party and cleaned up the mess for us. Another little child put her face in cake and had frosting every where. I was impressed with staff quick reaction and attention to detail. Each time a child drifted to their parents in the waiting area staff quickly intervened and found ways to keep the girls entertained. My niece has tiny feet and I was surprised to see the staff bringing a new box of assorted flip flops and let my niece chose a pair for her pedicure because the pedicure slippers would not stay on her feet. They owner seemed engaged throughout and coached staff in a way that enhanced the experience. Owner was what some might describe as giddy. This was a plus because it kept the girls laughing. The party character stole the show dancing and motivating the girls and working the crowd. My niece has not stop talking about it. Another highlight was the staff gave the girls a tour to kill a few minutes while waiting for late guests. lovely experience. More...

I’m sat here with the dog and it got me thinking how she has turned out so well and it’s because of Theo! We asked Theo for help starting on day 1 of having our pup at home and we saw her a number of times over the following months. All of her advice was excellent and we sailed through the puppy stage with Theo on hand at every little hiccup, she always found a gentle solution to everything and because of that we have an incredible kind, loyal and well behaved dog.We say she is ‘bombproof’, we have a disabled son and she is incredibly intuitive with him and they have an amazing relationship. PLEASE READ! Scheduled an appointment for my daughters: after calling, lady that answered the phone said she will call back in 15 minutes. ...an hour later after nothing, I call back to schedule the appointment. Bad Sign #1. Showed up a few minutes early, and the lady to care for my children was not here..”on her way”, they said. Bad Sign #2. While waiting the place is not the cleanest, decent decorations but it definitely needs proper upkeep. A simple warm cloth could clean this place up. Bad Sign #3. While my kids are getting a manicure, a family showed up with a scheduled appointment for a tour. The owner (seems to be at the least) instructs the girl tending to my kids to stop what she is doing and give this tour, leaving my girls unattended for about 15 minutes. Bad Sign #4. Owner lady is tending to some other kids, and offered them snacks by asking their guardian if it was okay, then bypasses my kid’s parents while I’m sitting right here and just give them snacks; Big No-No, what if they were allergic? Bad Sign #5. Observing unsanitary methods, going from child to child to child while not washing hands in between, spreading germs. Bad Sign #6. Oh, definitely would have left 30 seconds into the place if my kids weren’t excited. More...

I took my visually impaired niece here for a the spa manicure, pedicure and facial bundle deal. I did not know if it was going to be a good idea because I read the reviews and saw mostly good but a few made me wonder. The website gallery photos is what convinced me to give it a try because I am always searching for unique outings to take my niece plus everyone looked happy in the pictures so I said why not. I have taken my niece to a lot of places that cater to children but it's very hard to find places that are patient with children with disabilities. I was blown away with the extent staff went to make my niece feel welcome and it really felt natural not forced. Whenever I take her to new places she grips my hand and tucks into me and won't let me leave her side. By the time the workers finished her pedicure, my niece kept asking me to let her alone so she could enjoy her facial. During the pedicure, one of the staff offered my niece a complimentary hand massage which she loved. The lady that runs the place heard my niece asking about the relaxation music that was playing during her facial and asked would she like a CD in her treat bag then proceeded to sample CD's until my niece selected one she likes. I didn't have the heart to tell them that my niece does not own a CD player but I guess I will be buying her one after this. The place looks like a lot of time and creativity went into it. I wasn't expecting it to look as nice because it needs more window decorations. It would be nice to see them add a little more exterior decor to match the royal look inside. The party disco room looks super posh. It was a wonderful visit and will be returning in two weeks. It breaks my heart to see some people have written harsh reviews picking apart the simplest things because we enjoyed every moment of our visit. I also don't go to many places and see the owners working directly with the children and staff so this seemed to add a balance. I have been to a lot of places where workers treat the public like they don't like their job in this case I got a good sense that everyone seemed to love their work. The lady that runs the place had a lively way of motivation ques which was VERY interesting to see how the workers get livelier. I can appreciate the liveliness here. It was much better than I thought it would be and can't wait to return. More...

We met Theo back in October to try and tackle our dog's persistent barking and also a new-found sudden dislike towards other dogs, which subsequently lost his place at daycare. Theo's response to our enquiry was incredibly prompt, and we began our assessment process within a couple of days. The knowledge that Theo possesses and also much-welcomed positive-reward based training is a real eye-opener; we immediately saw our issues in a way that we previously hadn't even considered. We enjoyed reading through our tailored plan, which nicely pinpoints every issue and tasks of how to alter this unwanted behaviour. As a result of this plan, we are now far less anxious around Woody meeting other dogs (he sometimes now even wants to have a game of chase and play with them). Q&As

I love meeting people, seeing amazing changes in their dogs and the feeling that I really make a difference. I feel the same about online consultations.

My love of dogs and of people too, combined with skills from earlier in my long life - I was a teacher, I then ran businesses building website, database and my marketing. I love learning the theory and science behind behaviour - the psychology. Being a dog behaviourist combines it all.

Because I have years of experience spanning old-school methods years ago through to the most up-to-date ways of working. People can also see several hundred case stories showing just how I work. They don't go in to it blind. Beginners have to learn on clients. I don't. I go to many cases of people who have already had a behaviourist or trainer (ever more than one) and the dog is no better. I then have put them on the right road. I have a great number of testimonials.

Yes - at present I work exclusively online. You can choose your with very little waiting, going straight to a short form and then a booking system. I will be waiting for you on Zoom at your cosen time.

Services
