After transferring from an original woofers customer I was a little nervous about someone new grooming Bailey. However they had a quick chat got his history and when done he looked super amazing and I was over the moon! Bailey has some medical conditions but he wasn't at all stressed and obviously well taken care of and I appreciated their professional advice when I collected him. Plus, he smelt amazing! More...

It's 20am Sunday morning and I called on the poochie palace as my dog urgently needed an appointment for her nails to be clipped, to my surprise Mollie (our dog) had her nails clipped immediately and is so much happier for this, thank you Liz for this superb service, and Mollie is so much happier😀

Gemma was very polite, and listened to what I asked her to do. She made a lovely job of my Shih Tzu. She also groomed my 5 month old puppy. I was shocked at the price for the shampoo and blow dry; I found it to be very expensive. Two days later, I took him to a different groomer as I was told by Poochie palace that he couldn't be cut until he'd had at least two more grooms; but the other groomer I took him to gave him a teddy bear cut. I also asked Gemma about further grooming appointments; she said she'd speak to Liz, the owner about it and Liz would get back to me. I heard nothing from her so I'm not impressed at all. More...

Liz was great with my Pom Heidi. The cut is great, the best Pom hair cut I've seen in Bristol. She was very gentle with her and managed to even get to her back legs (she's a rescue & hates her back legs being brushed) 100% recommend. .. I'm sure Heidi is looking forward to her next visit. I had my black lab groomed today. I'm very happy with the service I received. She is Very friendly person.
My dog had a bad experience at his last groomers.
I told Liz all about it and that he is a very talkative dog. It didn't seem bother her that he is a very talkative dog. She took the time to reassure my dog and was really nice to my dog. He seemed at ease and really liked her, he wanted to get back in the van to have more done at the end lol.
I will be booking up again and telling everyone to book her up. :)

What do you love most about your job?
My passion is animals, especially dogs. I love my job because I get to help dogs by keeping their coats healthy and knot free that gives them every day comfort and a better quality of life. I also love that I get to cuddle dogs everyday too! It's the perfect job!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Previous to dog grooming grooming I was a retail manager for well known international premium brands. I have a successful portfolio, including consecutive year on year wins of both 'Bristol Retailer of the Year'and 'Company Store of the Year'. I decided I should managing my own business doing something I am passionate about, which gives me greater self reward.
